To honesty the movie Dhakhan 's story line does not suit Dekha Ek Khwaab' s story line. There are many reason why:

Udayveer has evil side to him
Manyata's character will not marry someone for her family until less she loves him.
Plus they are royal will they lose they wreath like ram in the movie
Plus Dekha ek Khwaab is a story about a girl turn into a princess and then a queen like no other.

P.S.; TO BE A GOOD LEADER OF A KINGDOM

YOU NEED A STRONG PARTNER

WHO STAND BY YOU DURING THE GOOD TIME AND BAD TIME

I THINK AKASH IS NOT STRONG TO DO THAT FOR MANYATA

UDAYVEER IS THE BETTER CHOOSE

I see what you're saying, but no one has stated that Dharkan is completly like DEK...but there are parallels- the financial standings, the triangle...and heck even chiki. 😉

1. Yes, UV is not a saint like Ram: Thank god😆, because DEK would become a lot less entertaining.

BUT DEK is also a show, so there is plenty of room for him to become a better person. Hopefully he will. I don't think he'll ever be the saint Ram was in the Movie, but that's what we all want.

2. I think that is yet to be seen. Moniya would never do that, but "Manyata" (She hasn't completely transformed yet) MIGHT. I hope the latter happens.

3. Yes, they are royal, and I don't think it's about them losing the wealth per say, but the simple fact that Akash can come back as a wealthy man and a success story. He can ruin them in other ways as well: socially, media is a powerfull tool and Royals value one thing above money: IZZAT.

4. Agreed. But the "Love story" behind it is similar to what D-A- R went through.

Over all DEK is its own show. Not the Princess Diaries, not Dhakhan, or anything else.

But drawing wishful parallels is part of what veiwers do. Personally, I'd love the D-A-R trangle for A-M-U. Simply because the ending suits my biased preferance😆😳

At this point, they can only really do a couple of obvious things:

Dhadkan-it: as you describe above.

Happily Ever After-it: Princess ends up with her lover - after a few struggles whether or not Akash becomes rich or not.

Ekta Kapoor-it: Princess runs away with lover and/or marries him, lover becomes evil, princess comes back and marries Uday.

Twist-it: Princess marries Prince, Prince tortures Princess, Princess runs away with lover.

there are many more ways to turn a story...
i think nun of the above and specially BIG NO to AKASH and manyta marriage...
it will never happen...

i actually can't decide between these three twists:

1: M marries uday but still loves akaash, thus a love after marriage story - my fav kinda romance ;)

2: M falls out of love of akash, and falls in love with uday... then show ends with their marriage... thus, just love track, no real marriage track.

3: M falls out of akash's love, but doesn't fall for uday yet. and still gets married to him. so a love after marriage story minus her crying over majnu.

as much as i hate majnu, i think i'll go for option 1😆 it'll make it even more fun when she has to reject majnu for her HUSBAND UDAYVEER... 😳 just sounds much more romantic and special ;) 😆

btw, ur title... dhakhan. i know u meant dhadkan. but before my brain worked, my eyes went into tricking mode, and i read it as dhakkan. and...u know.. ofcourse i thought of majnu instantly🤣 and i entered ur thread expecting a majnu discussion. 🤣

I actually prefer Option 2 best...however, instead of it ending with their marriage, maybe they can extend the show or change the storyline so that it shows how eventually Uday and Manyeta rule their kingdom and the different challenges they face as they rule and grow together as a King and Queen...
