DS-UV-BR-Komz: Distrust Unleashed.

Look, am not going to talk about Maanyata today. She only gets more and more hopeless by the day and that fact was voiced by all the elders of the family. She was a whining stubborn brat who was anything but sorry for bringing shame to her family. Her family can go to hell – after all, her lover comes first. Immature , self-centric, unapologetic , still using emotions as a weapon – HOPELESS.
Coming to who all made sense today in the episode.
Brijraj : Jo kucch Maanyata ne 16 saal tak uss chawl ki zindagi mein seekha hai, use hamaare saath bitaaye hue 2 maheene nahinn mitaa sakte.
Brijraj : Hum sab yahaan patang udaate rahe aur Maanyata ne hum sabki patang kaat dee.
DS : Hum Maanyata ka dil zor zabardasti se nahiin , pyaar se hi jeetna chaahte the. Lekin ab humein hamaari taaqat ka istemaal karna hi hoga.
DS : Komal, aap Devgarh ki maharani hain. Ek maa bankar sochengi , to Maanyata ki zindagi ke faisle dimaag se nahiin dil se karengi. Maanyata na samajh hai, naadaan hai. Unke faislse dimaag se hi lene honge.
Komal : Maanyata , aapko apni galti ka koi ehsaas nahiin. Aapne hum sabke pyaar ka, vishwas ka faayeda uthaaya hai . Aapko apni nayee zindagi ki taraf badhna hi hoga.
UV : Maanyata ne jo hamaare saath kiya hai, uski sazaa to unhe mill kar hi rahegi. The game is not over yet.
I guess of the lot, I connected the most with DS and BR. They both were so hurt , devastated , distressed, especially Brijraj – it was almost like he couldn't come to terms with the reality that his elder daughter had turned his prestige into a joke and is giving attitude and tantrums to top it. He was crude, he was harsh as he tore Maanyata's shenanigans right-left-center in front of the family – but more than that he was hurt and ashamed. He blamed Maanyata's upbringing and their own sparing of the rod for the fiasco that the darling girl put them through. No girl would want to see her father like that but Maanyata doesn't care whether they all live or die, right?
While BR was all wounded prestige and hurt emotions, DS was the voice of reason as in her reprimanding of Komzie's ' Meri bacchi' fit, she clearly separated heart and the head. She didn't mull much over what Maanyata had done but taking reins of the situation, like a true queen, she got down to damage control. If Maanyata could not respect their feelings and faith , they would switch to authoritative and disciplinary control – now, it would be the Rajmata's way and none else, not even BR or Komal's way.
Komzie, after a dose from DS was applause worthy in her scene with Maanyata where she dodged Maanyata's emotional attack with authority , discipline and self control. Yes, it didn't register at all with Maanyata but Komzie refused to buckle under the emotional pressure that Maanyata was putting on her , using the 'mother' card.
UV is bitter. Bitter as in very very bitter. The shy blushing prince who was grinning the other day that his princess loves him, locked away his heart once again at the mention of Maanyata and told J that he didn't love Maanyata . Its just payback time and it's a war with Maanyata from start to finish. But we all know that maybe after a long time, J read him right. The alarm bells in her head were not wrong – yes, he is in love with Maanyata but he doesn't want to remember that anymore. When he sees her now, he only recalls BREACH OF TRUST. But when he parcels a slap for the loverboy , you can still feel that the sting of Maanyata runs deeper than UV's ego.
All in all, today's episode reflected Maanyata's fall from grace in the eyes of all those who loved and trusted her. It was bitterness and more bitterness all around but Maanyata couldn't care less. They all can go to hell while she kills us with her 'I am the center of the universe' syndrome.
P.S- Priyal Gor needs to do something about her voice modulation. With due respect to the kid as a person as an actress , she needs to learn to modulate her voice as per the situation – especially the tempo. The creative head and the director should look into that. Her screeches threatened to burst my auricles and kill my ventricles. And Ashish Kapoor, I hope that Dalmatian –Gone-Wrong t-shirt of yours is burnt by your press waala. Kya yaar? Kabhi ye waali t shirt aur kabhi tere woh laal joote. Tujhe cheezon se obsession ho jaata hai kya?
