and how exactly is Akash the perfect mature guy? He is judgmental enough to believe that Moniya's family doesn't treat her well and even goes as far as to instigate Moniya against her family rather then make her understand her family - something a mature person like Akash should do. He should have helped Moniya in accepting her true identity and her family. But Akash himself refuses to accept the fact that Moniya is princess Manyata... he is selfish enough to want Moniya to stay as Moniya and not become Manyata... where else we have Uday who wants to transform Moniya into a dignified princess but also wants her to keep her inner Moniya alive - her spirit and her spunk!
And about who needs a manipulative prince - isn't Moniya as manipulative as Uday if not more?
Our manipulative Prince Uday is the perfect choice for our manipulative Princess Manyata.
exactly. akash isn't mature. infact, i don't even think his love is that selfless. if he loved her selflessly, as true love is supposed to be, then he would push her towards that which is better for her. At this time, what is better for her is her family, where she belongs. He would not help her, infact instigate her even more, in rebelling against the family he knows she just found. He knows that is her family, her true family. Yet, just for himself, his feelings for her, he is trying to keep her tied to him. He is hanging on to her almost with his life it seems - he just can't seem to want her to move on. He keeps insisting on her being moniya - she is not HIS MONIYA... she is princess manyata. her family has a right to get her love - and if he was mature, he'd undertand that. and if his love was true, he'd do something about that.
so no, i don't think akash is a true lover of manyata. and i don't think he is any better than uday. Uday is manipulative, yes, conniving deceiving and what not.. but that is right now, when he is not in love with manayata. right now, he's just running on his evil motives. it will take time for him to fall for her, and once he does, he'll learn to love, and be the guy that manyata deserves.
and like angel said, right now madam moniya is as much manipulative as uday is. Infact she seems to be playing his game, but in this case she went even a step further and is actually using her own family for her selfish reasons. So, really, they're both quite alike. they both deserve each other 😛
