I won't say Akash is the true lover here. I say even Uday isn't perfect.

Akash is smitten by M's beauty and innocence. It isn't love. If Akash truly loved Moniya then he should have let her become the Princess. Out here he is trying to stop her from becoming Manyata-he is clinging on to Moniya. If he was a true friend,he should have told her to respect her family and get to know them better. He isn't doing any of those whereas he is giving Moniya advices to not obey them-live the way she wants to. These acts from Akash made me feel Akash to be unworthy of Moniya and Manyata both of them.

He is fearing inside that if Moniya becomes Manyata he will be outside. Because Akash knows Moniya but he isn't familiar with Manyata.

Even if Akash's character was played by any other person,i wouldn't have liked it. 😊

uday is gr8 and makes the show enjoyable , so we root 4 uday and not akash even if he is the good for monia

And its this ordinary man who can take the beatings and have the courage to climb ladders to reach Moniya's window or come into a place where he can be brutally beaten again. This love is without expectations or money or even politics.

Akash stole my heart from the very day he gave Moniya those sandals.

His words, his courage, his fearlessness, his simplicity, his consideration, his love without conditions, his concern about his love, hard work - makes Akash the perfect hero.

Who needs a manipulative prince when you have this chawl ka dilwala ashiq.

Akash as a husband - any day over that snake Uday.

I really don't want to see Akash alone or heartbroken because of Moniya.

======

And this is no way is to offend you Uday fans. I just personally think that we tend to forget what a sweetheart Akash is.

Nivi, I don't mind you expressing your views and preference for Akash but from what angle is Uday the snake? If Uday is the snake then isn't Manyata/Moniya being a nagin right now? playing with her own family's feelings, lying, pretending and accusing without any remorse and guilt? What would you say to that?

and how exactly is Akash the perfect mature guy? He is judgmental enough to believe that Moniya's family doesn't treat her well and even goes as far as to instigate Moniya against her family rather then make her understand her family - something a mature person like Akash should do. He should have helped Moniya in accepting her true identity and her family. But Akash himself refuses to accept the fact that Moniya is princess Manyata... he is selfish enough to want Moniya to stay as Moniya and not become Manyata... where else we have Uday who wants to transform Moniya into a dignified princess but also wants her to keep her inner Moniya alive - her spirit and her spunk!

And about who needs a manipulative prince - isn't Moniya as manipulative as Uday if not more?

Our manipulative Prince Uday is the perfect choice for our manipulative Princess Manyata.

i don't mind if everyone likes that jodi. i like it too. they are interesting together. but that doesn't change the fact that akash is a sweetheard for me.

you should not be on a public forum trying to shut people up - if you don't like opinions, you shouldn't visit this website.

grow up.

First of all its not really cool that you call Uday a snake. What exactly has he done for people to call him a snake??? Yes, we know he can be very conniving and manipulative at times but that doesnt mean he is a "snake". Thats a little harsh! Deep down, he is a genuine person who is very much capable of loving Manyata truly one dayyy and he WILL love her! He has shown he really does care about her in the past episodes so that shows Uday's genuine side. He has so many shades to his character which is why majority of the audience prefer him over Akash. Thats what audience likes to see. They want to see character growth and Uday will have that.

Akash.. its just better I dont say anything about him cuz he annoys me way too much! I dont find his character appealing from any angle. He is a BORE and his character is so unrealistic at times.

I agree with you on the fact that Aakash is a sweetheart and in a real life, anyone should choose him...and even in the show...at the present moment, he has an upper hand over Uday when it comes to being the perfect guy for Moniya. And I definitely think he is one of the lead of the show...I would like to believe that because there would be a reason why the writer put such a character in the show...there would definitely be a reason...but Uday is the lead too, and I root for Uday-Moniya as the end game😳

Uday is not the perfect guy but he is perfectly imperfect and we all (who are rooting for ManVeer) wants to see how his imperfection turns out to be perfection for Moniya😳 Aakash is perfect but too good to be true in real life...while Uday, he has grey shades and we all want to see layers to his characters and what made him the way he is and what mistakes he makes and how he learns from them😳 So Uday is the type of character that makes you sit on the edge of your seat while Aakash is a typical sweet boy (but one-dimensional...and sometimes his character seems bland and boring)

exactly. akash isn't mature. infact, i don't even think his love is that selfless. if he loved her selflessly, as true love is supposed to be, then he would push her towards that which is better for her. At this time, what is better for her is her family, where she belongs. He would not help her, infact instigate her even more, in rebelling against the family he knows she just found. He knows that is her family, her true family. Yet, just for himself, his feelings for her, he is trying to keep her tied to him. He is hanging on to her almost with his life it seems - he just can't seem to want her to move on. He keeps insisting on her being moniya - she is not HIS MONIYA... she is princess manyata. her family has a right to get her love - and if he was mature, he'd undertand that. and if his love was true, he'd do something about that.
so no, i don't think akash is a true lover of manyata. and i don't think he is any better than uday. Uday is manipulative, yes, conniving deceiving and what not.. but that is right now, when he is not in love with manayata. right now, he's just running on his evil motives. it will take time for him to fall for her, and once he does, he'll learn to love, and be the guy that manyata deserves.
and like angel said, right now madam moniya is as much manipulative as uday is. Infact she seems to be playing his game, but in this case she went even a step further and is actually using her own family for her selfish reasons. So, really, they're both quite alike. they both deserve each other 😛

not really.. in a similar scenario of a girl all of a sudden realising she is from a veryy big, royal family.. then in that kind of a case, a real life couple like akash moniya can be impractical. see, we all just talk about "love is blind, and in love nothing else matters"... but in real life, other things do matter. money matters, status matters, families matter. would a girl like manyata's family really be willing to accept just a average (even less than avg infact) income guy for their "princess"??
would a poor guy like akash really not become a culprit of inferiority complex on knowing his gf is a princess, and in one second she can buy his whole neighbourhood? i mean, yes couples like this do happen. but most often, they are thought to be as highly impractical, and not at all "ideal" couples. 😉
edit: yeh maine kya post likhi thi, sab kuch mix, aadhe points kat gaye the! rofl! 😆
