She at first UVs Manaytha, he sw first and all those days he was waiting and serching for her and later she became Aaskash Moniya..so who deserve her..UV deserve her..right??
yes ur right Aakash is a good person bt Manaytha and UV hv perfect chemistry and UV acting is far better thn A..

A true lover is someone who would have let his love go...and if it would have its true love than nothing in this world could stop his love to come back to him..
but in the case of Akash...he is the one who had holded back Moniya..and not letting her become her true identity i.e. Manyata...
True that he is a sweet-heart but according to me he is selfish and manipulative too...
He dosen't trust Manyata at all...otherwise why he would always says her to not change...and if you say her faimly is trying to change her completely than its not true...they just want her to behave like genuine and graceful person...
He always accuses her faimly..that they are trying to hurt her...
Had he ever given a thought...why would they hurt their own daughter whom they are finding from last 16 years.. forget about others ..but Dadisa and her mother will never let her hurt..
If he is the person who has actually loved her then he would have told her..to accept her faimly and helped her to understand them...
And about his unconditional love... i think there is a condition...that she shouldn't change herself to Manyata...

p.s: i really don't mean to offend anyone here...they are just my views..

Dear..🤗.U said all tht i had to...thanks a lot ..I agree with every singe thing u said...to me UdayVeer is a true lover...always reserved a special place for M in his heart 😳...Akash really needs to let..go of Muniya..he is stopping her from becoming Manyata...he is stopping her from becoming a part of the family......he is insecure..tht once Muniya becums Manyata...she will 4 get him...well Akash my advice to you...if u really fear tht...then what position do u even hold in her life...😕...I dont really care...I am a ManVeerian 4 ever

I don't really watch DEK regularly, but catch the episodes once in a while..and drop in on the forum to read the comments once in a while...and it never ceases to amaze me how many posts there are about the audience hating Moniya-Akaash jodi and only wanting Moniya-Udayveer..

The even more amusing part is people predicting doomsday for DEK if their demands are not adhered to, and its not UV instead of A :-)

As a matter if pure interest, people are aware right that India Forum constitutes a small proportion of the actual audience of most teleserials? Of course it is an important audience but compared to the overall TV footprint, its still very small.

In fact something like DEK is most likely to have a rural or semi urban audience with its rags to riches appeal. Additionally, a lot of the IF audience is actually overseas and doesn't contribute TRPS at all..

Unfortunately IF fans have a history of getting vicious and personal if they dont like anything which is a sure fire way of ensuring that if any Creative was ever listening, they switch off, lol! And if IF is an important audience, then its equally necessary to use that importance judiciously!

If DEK does go off air, it will be cos overall TRPs, many of which are determined by a non-urban and adult audience, do not support it. I don't really see a gripping storyline to keep it running and frankly, its biggest bet is that its semi urban / rural audience finds it gripping and what's going to appeal to it. And frankly a M-A would be more appealing than M-UA to that audience.

I accept that maybe M-A doesn't have the "chemistry" that M-UV have (though I suspect much of the chemistry is a blind crush on the handsome UV & the appeal of M & UV nok-jhok) and I may be wrong, and, I hope for everyone on the forum's sake that the show takes the turn that they want but it's sad to see a generation that places such a huge premium on looks!

i know it's sad... but it's also the fact, right?? :)

i agreee, the major reason for such huge craze on manveer is ashish as udayveer. compared to him, akash's character naturally comes across is boring and average. the sad thing is, looks, and overall charm, of the character is what attracts us first and foremost. if the character is pheeka, we reject him.

now, i agree we form a very small population. and most of us are overseas, so not even contributing to the overall ratings of the show. however, today the times are so changed, with the increased use of social networking websites by everyone - from audience to actors to producers, that it is ultimately us whose voices are heard. wanna know examples? EHMMBH's creative team have their official pages on FB - and they actually regularly take the fans' ideas, from there, on scenes and songs, and implement it in the show... i've seen it happen firsthand...sooo... i think today, with everyone having facebook accounts and twitters, it is the fans on social networking sites whose voices and opinions are most heard.. which makes it all the more important to keep our voices constantly loud... keep our views constantly clear... so that if anyone were to dorop by the forum, they'd know instantly who the audience likes, what the fans want, etc..

and, lastly.. i kinda disagree with the fact that we are just a small group, so what we think doesn't apply to what the overall audience thinks - see, there are variations between groups, but there are also variations amidst groups...statistically speaking, the tendencies, the trends, are usually veryyy similar between different groups of a common population... in this case, people who watch DEK - though we don't form the majority, but the trend (majority loving uday, minority liking akash) would pretty much be consistent if the whole population were to be explored.. that's just because variations within groups would balance the variations between groups... so the trends could very well be generalised... atleast that's what i think.. =)

so, i think it's good that the forum here is so vocal abt their love for manveer and dislike for akash-moniya... because most likely, these sentiments are similarly mirrrored in the overall audience, and because the creative team people nowadays keep roaming around social networking sites.. and u never know when they may be looking for feedback. 😉

I for one wanted Monya to reach Akash's B-day venue! 😊

Now now people don't get me wrong- I'm all for Manyata and Udayveer's jodi!! I just thought all that hard work of Manyata and Unnati shouldn't go to waste! 😎 (Gosh I wish someone would throw ME a surprise b-day bash like that!! 😔) BUT little did I know they were going to show such lovey dovey scenes between Monya and Akash...🤢 laila-majnu? What was that??

Anyway even after having said that, I respect Akash's character since he's the only non-scheming person in the show along with Monya's Mother...Even the main lead turned out to be a sly fox! 😆 I guess it's refreshing not to see another sacrificing queen ! 😳😆

Akash is vital to this story. We need Akash for Udayveer to realize his true love for Manyata. He needs to learn to respect her and other women as individual beings and not dogs with a leash! We need Akash, for Monya to learn that Udayveer is an option, an option whom she can actually love & be happy with!
I think Akash was the first and only Boy who ever befriended her and all of a sudden proposed to her, so perhaps she's confusing her stubbornness and infatuation with True Love.

Ok my two cents: 🤓
Akash is already at the top of the pyramid per se...He has goodness instilled with in him and doesn't achieve anything for his personal gain or selfish reason... Now if CV's decide to change his character on a whim, than that's something else...😕 (I hate when CV's change a good personality into an evil one over night!😡)

As for Uday, he has a lot of potential in the development of his character. I like his shrewdness and cleverness but he uses these traits for his own selfish reasons. He has a lot of room to grow and learn... & I think if they pair up Uday and Manyata they can learn a lot from each other.. Akash and Monya's jodi is yes as we all know borrring🥱 -Akash is a goody two-shoes, and lets face it we want a bad boy!! 😈😆Actually you'd think they'd balance each other out- which they do but it's a little too balanced ! 😆 We want to see spicy chemistry that only Manyata & Uday have!

So...lets not blame our frustrations on poor Akash...😔 He's needed and is actually helping our beloved Manyata & Uday to be together in the future!

Hi eminent, we both are on the same shoes. We both are Manveerians but respect the character Akash!

Actually, the problem for me with the Monash couple is that I find their love story to be too sweet to be true! I really cannot connect with the Monash story.. whereas Manveer story seems natural to me, sth that I can connect to.. the natural growth and the flow in their story is something remarkable far better from the way the love story of other couples in other shows..

Sometimes, I feel disappointed at the way Manveerians bash the character Akash.

All things said and done, I also feel Akash as a crucial role to play to make Manveer happen. He is the path destiny has chosen to make Manyata realise who is his true prince..A path destiny has chosen to make UV realise that getting married to a Maharani and getting married to Manyata/ Monia are two different things. A path destiny has chosen to make UV realise that it may be hard to be a perfect king but it is harder still to become a perfect husband. A path destiny has chosen to make UV realise that girls may die to be in with him for his looks and his property.. But , it does not work for the girl destiny has chosen for him.. After all, life is not a game of chess where you can precalculate each and every move and win it at any cost. Destiny has its play in it.

Even if todays episode was full of Monash romance, something very hard for me to digest. It was worthwhile for two reasons..

1. It showed the real reason why Unnati had helped Monia ..because she wanted Monia to live life on her own conditions

2. That dialouge of M where she says :

UV may have everything in the world the property, the power, the title , the prestige and everything .. But he does not have her...Manyata...the key to his dreams to become an all powerful king (for the moment) but maybe his love interest in days to come ... She is in the steels plate of Aakash.. (as she herself puts it)

Now that is a big challenge to UV, sth that calls for more than his manipulative mind and his thought that life is a game of chess...can think of.. He has got to really think out of the box and in the process he may evolve.. So, I think that was the importance of all birthday fisaco .. and the too sweet Monash romance..

I also feel that Monash are not truly in love its sth else.. I dont know!!

BTW, if it would not have been for Akash UV would never realised that M is her destiny (remember the scar, the promo of 2 December and how the story had developed after that)!!

So, finally agreeing with you I also say Akash has an important role to play in the the evolution of Manveer.

I just liked the way you put forward a healthy discussion about As character. Hats off! I only had my share on it. ..

I think you dont need to get sorry for the long post. The space is not wasted after all . But , if we need to get sorry about it, I must feel more sorry than you because my post is longer than yours!!

Dazzling girl n Eminent...both your posts were really nyc...the DEK forum is filled with so much of yuckiness for the character of Akash...but only few people like you all don't just go on ranting about how they HATE Akash n How they love Udaybeer-Manyata...i always write in my posts that...we should just be patient n enjoy this roller-coaster ride...because its going to be real fun to watch it...but it is going a little slow...thts y people are losing patience...but what i feel..is that Udaybeer n Manyata share a COLORLESS bond...which has got the colour of enemity...but there are many more colours to be added n experienced...which we will get to see in the coming episodes...N as you both said...Akash's character is important for both of these characters...so RESERVED...👏👏👏
