I totally agree with you! I can't believe Unnati either. If Unnati was so tired of all the politics, why is she shutting her eyes to Manyata's politics?? It makes no sense...

Manyata's character is totally going downhill drastically.

Can't believe UV is actually falling for the entire act or if he's just acting...

It's good to see here as well Poco...after long time😛😳

But frankly, even I don't seem to get that how is Unnati betraying Uday? Yes, Moniya is "supposed" to be his wife but does Moniya really want that? Has Uday ever considered that? He is using Moniya, and treating her like some wild animal...and is that justified?

Unnati is not going "against" her brother, she is just doing what she feels is right. She is just letting Moniya be...the person she is...letting her be a free bird unlike everyone else in the family. She knows that her brother doesn't love Moniya and even feels that he doesn't respect her and is trying to cage her. She even tried to tell him that he is doing wrong, but did he care to listen to his little sister? No. So should Unnati just sit there and watch a girl get caged like that? Ofcourse not and she cares for Moniya. If Uday is her brother, Moniya is her friend...if she lets her brother treat Moniya like this and suddenly stop Moniya from meeting everyone she cares for, it is going to affect Moniya mentally...and she is bound to rebel more. What Unnati wants for Moniya is to follow her heart...and if her heart tells her that she belongs to Uday...than she will support her in that...and if her heart tells her she loves Akash, of course she is going to support her.

I definitely don't think it is Unnati's fault at all, morally and emotionally. In fact, one should just let the person be the way they are...if they forcefully make Moniya a princess, she would be one in front of the world but would she be really happy? No. Unnati is just wanting Moniya to be happy, especially when she knows that her brother is NOT in love with her...not right now at least.

I agree with you!! In the whole of DEK both UV and Manyata/Moniya trust one person to the fullest i.e. Unnati Unnati is for me the bridge between M and UV. They both let their real persona peel off in front of her. Unnati must not have done that to her brother. .

But there are two sides of the same coin. Think if someday M and UV unite and fight together for Unnati. Then they do so it will not be fake and it will pave a road for Manveer!!

Also , since Unnati is really afraid of hiding things from her brother (see how M lied easily to UV whereas Unnati could not and hesitated, also worried) I don't think she will be able to hide truth from him for long.

And what if Unnati will be the one who realises that Akash and M are not made for each other.. and Manveer are destined together!!!

I really hope CVs are working on this line. My finger crossed!!

A super duper like on this one. Exactly what I think. That is not a betrayal. Unnati is doing what she thinks is right even if Uday doesn't think so.

I mean Unnati thinks that the way Uday treats women (he flirts with/dates) and especially Manyata is wrong. She has made it clear to him too that she doesn't approve of his ways. But did he change himself? No. Did he even just not flirt with her friends inspite of knowing it annoys her? No. He's doing what he likes.

So then why is Unnati being blamed for betraying her brother and what not when all she is doing is helping a friend she's truly attached to? I don't get it. Yes, Uday won't like it when he comes to know about it, he will be hurt too. But how does that make what Unnati is doing wrong? Maybe this is exactly what he needs to reflect on where he's going wrong.

Thank you for replying , everyone. No matter how convergent or divergent the views are on this UV-Unnzie angle, i guess we all have our respective POVS. While some of us think its emotional deceit , some of us feel that Unnzie is standing up for what is right and not against her brother. Basically, its a sentiments V/s.practical debate.

Conclusion being that even if we admit that Unnati is doing everything right for Maanyata's sake , the fact doesn't change that she is risking her relationship with UV under a blanket of lies. She is the same blood as UV and there is no dearth of courage in her if she can tell him on his face that he is being a cad. So, we would appreciate it much more and even root for her if she threw it in UV's face that listen Dada, am going to help Maanyata and am not scared of doing what is right. But she didn't do that. She chose to go the sneaky secret way, even when she knows what the result will be. She couldn't handle one single accustaion glare from him. That reflects how she feels inside - she is walking on a double edged weapon.

My post is not about what a creep UV is to Maanyata , its strictly about UV and Unnzie's bond where , for a change, UV is not a dog to her which he usually is. Unnzie has Maanyata's friendship at one hand and UV's brotherhood on the other - and even she knows that she is sacrificing one for the other. While she is being a confidante to Maanyata , she is paying the price by being a sneak to her own brother. Its like her good act and her mean act are running parallel to each-other.

I have no issues with Unnzie helping Maanyata because Unnzie is doing what she thinks is right. My issue is that she is lying to and cheating her own brother. I would give her salutations if she told UV straightaway that she will do as she pleases and he is free to think what he wants. But no, instead of standing UP to him, she is sneaking behind him. I can't even say that she is going against him because even that means going a one-on-one and that is not happening.

Your brother might be a beast but have it in you to tell him on his face that he is a beast. Stab him from the front , not his back. And i do not remember ever mentioning UV as a saint or an angel ( except in reference to his bond with Unnzie). He is not.

Lastly, somebody being bad doesn't justify the chinks in the armour of your goodness.

Love and luck always,❤️
GOD bless everyone. 🤗

Yes, she is lying to her brother but if she had told Uday that she is supporting Moniya and Aakash, do you think he will even let her meet Moniya? No, because Uday needs "power" above everyone and she knows him very well. I know it might just be my assumption, but that is what I would predict knowing and understanding Uday, so far.

Even I love Uday-Unnati but the question here is why Unnati is doing this and not what she is doing. Well and this can bring to different ethics and we can go onto to debate forever...but for me, sometimes end justifies the means. And yes it would hurt Uday in short term, but from Unnati's perspective...it is much better for everyone in long term. Now I agree that Unnati should tell Uday straight on his face and so should Moniya...that they are throwing Aakash a b'day party...do whatever you want, but this is what she lacks...courage to voice herself...yet she is trying to follow what she believes, silently (and also like I said...Uday would have never approved of that and would have made sure that Unnati doesn't help Moniya in future...and also wouldn't have let Moniya throw a party) But it certainly isn't betrayal because she has told him again and again that she doesn't approve of the way he treats Manyata and how he flirts with girls.

Anyways I just want to say that it is not fair to blame Unnati and Moniya, when Uday is equally guilty (and maybe even more). Unnati's actions is directly related to Uday's behavior (with Manyata and also in general) and hence I have to bring in Uday-Manyata.

Don't worry, jitna badaa dhokhaa hoga , utnaa hi badaa dhamaaka hoga. We are underestimating UV and so are Unnzie and Maanyata.

Pocu I wanted to make a post on ManVeer oil masaage scene and also Manyata confessing to Unnati that both she and Uday hv a good anger setting 😉...at least she admits they hv some setting on 😆😆Embarrassed...but this whole Unnati supporting Manyata in secret birthday mission is pissing me off now AngryOuch

Nice post PC 👏👏
Although I don't have any siblings I value the relationship between brothers and sister as a treasure which is priceless. Am really upset with Unnati's behaviour towards her Dada these days and can't make it how she can choose Manyata friendship over her Dada's love although Unnati is a selfless character it doesn't make sense. She has always stand by UV and UV is purely himself only with Unnati as she is the one who can make UV feel himself and talk his mind as a human being and not as a Yuuvraj.
Am wondering where will this choice of Unnati bring the brother-sister relationship as when ones own
blood breaks the trust it badly hurt.

Nice post, as always :)

I understand that Unnati is a sweet and very soft natured girl. That is what sets her apart from the rest. And her kindness has won Manyata over. However, I do not agree with what she has been doing behind her Dada's back. I would go as far as saying that she has betrayed her brother's trust.

If she wants to help Manyata, fine. But why at the expense of her relationship with her brother, Uday? It does not make sense! She has wronged him and she knows it, hence the guilty look when her brother was giving her those stern glares.

Unnati and Uday are siblings, share the same blood, have known each other since birth. They share history together- so then why does Unnati want to gamble all of this and run the risk of losing her brother's trust, just to help Manyata arrange a birthday party for her Chawl wala boyfriend. How ridiculous!
