I think the word is helpless.

She is surrounded by politics - whether they are DS', Uday's or Jai's.

Remember...

Moniya was picked up (without her choice) and bought to the mehel. Prior to this, she was not about politics.

Moniya was always yelled at and punished for leaving the mehel and going to the chawl or meeting friends.

Moniya was threatened to be locked up and given no freedom if she ran again or lied.

At the same time, she doesn't want to upset DS.

It's always Moniya who was limited in choices. I don't think she would like to lie or play tricks to get out the palace. I think she (thanks to Uday, Jai's cheap tactics and DS stern rule + everyone's opinion about chawls and chawl people) - she is forced to do this to get out.

Combine this difficult situation with being a tad bit childish. You will understand why she is doing what she is at the moment.

brought tears to my eyes...such a beautiful gesture of receiving gifts...then making food for dadi sa and family...her father's gesture of acknowledged thanks to uday..everything just broke my heart...

this girl is shamefully shamefully using human emotions for her own gains...hated unati's part in it too..she seem to have forgotten dadi sa's advice to her regarding manyata...today she played with emotions of people who were waiting for her for last 16 years with broken hearts...💔

Calling Manyata helpless, is like calling Uday an idiot: Both had a soft, exterior, seem easy going enough, but BOTH are very smart; they know what they're doing, how to do it, and how to seem like the innocent party. Manyata is anything but helpless.

Manayta may have been brought in from the Chawl: BUT politics are EVERYWHERE. It isnt something special to royal families. EX. Akash's family wanting Monia and Akash getting married once they found out she was Long Lost Princess Manyata. That is also Politics. the thing about Political games (Trust me, as a student of the subject, I know) they are UNIVERSAL, and do not discriminate: rich, poor, young, old, thin or fat: this game is open to whichever and however many players you want. Manyata has always been an active player- she just decided to become a less honest one.

The thing with this is, that if she REALLY wants to leave, she should, could and can. BUT she doesn't. IF she wants Akash so bad: run, go, be free. But why this contradictory and sorry boarderline attempt? AND if she knows she'll get in trouble for lieing: why do it? And if she doesnt care: Why is she here?

I don't buy her not wanting to hurt DS: She cares more about Akash, C&S than DS: Sad but true. If she had to take a bullet for someone it would be Akash. Manyata does not give to hoots about DS or the Royal family at the moment: She doesnt care if she hurts them. To her they seem fake, snobby etc. The irony is lost on her.

I DO understand why she's doing it. She is childish and selfish.

I'm about her charecter's age at the moment; so I really can't empathize with her. I see her love for Akash to be juvinelle and short-sighted. My parents have taught me one thing: You want something from us: Show us you deserve it.

Does Manyata deserve to get her way at the moment? No.

Parenting is not always about giving- so my parents have taught me.

It's a two way relationship: You want trust? Trust Us. You want freedom? Show me you're responsible enough to handel it.

Manyata could handel the situation better: Get to know her family, be polite, and learn things: if she's such a do gooder, why not help those who need help instead of accusing the royals of not doing enough? She makes up her mind before she has all the facts: its one of her greatest shortcomings.

Ditto Reeha! Agree with your each and every word... She always says that she isn't selfish and mean like the family and Uday but in fact she is worse then them... at least Uday and the family are not two faced like her... The family hasn't taken advantage of her emotions and neither have they played with her feelings like she is playing with theirs! 😡
