Clearly Manyata has yet to grow up. She is very childish and does not understand relationships and the depth of human emotions. Right now she does come across as selfish and an opportunist.
Whenever she thinks, it is always about Akash 😳 Okay, let's keep Uday aside for now because he is not a blood relation...why is she not making a genuine effort with her mother and Daadi? Whatever she did today, was a result of her selfish motives. There was no sense of real love for her family on her part and she doesn't seem to even what to make an effort to bond. Why?
For once, it would be nice to see Manyata think about her family. We cannot expect her to play happy families with them all because she has been away from them for all these years. But at least begin to make an effort! She needs to look beyond Akash and try to understand her family and heritage.
Just to add: this is not bashing, I am merely analysing the character and giving my two cents :)
