Manyata wore a chocolate brown colored Indo-Western outfit. She wore simple yet elegant earrings to match. She wore matching boots as well. She smiled at herself in the mirror. This would do, after all she didn't have to go the extra mile for people she didn't even know nor did she feel she needed to impress them.

Udayveer stood outside awaiting his princess. He was leaning against the car trying to pass time with his phone when suddenly, he felt her presence. He smiled as he lifted his face but felt his jaw drop down when he saw her.

In his eyes she always had this raw beauty but her ensemble today truly proved she had royal blood in her.

"Wow tum toh bauth acchi lagti ho aaj," he exclaimed.

She smiled at him.

"Thank-you rajkumar. Ab chalen?," she inquired.

He opened the door for her and she hopped in.

A guard opened their doors when they arrived at the venue. Manyata and Udayveer greeted his friends. Unnati joined them later and helped with introductions. Manyata tried her best to be polite to everyone despite her slight nervousness.

Some of the girls Udayveer used to date ended up crashing the party. Manyata tried not to let it bother her but when one of the drunk girls nearly fell into his lap, her rage knew no bars. She wasn't here to watch this. One of the waiters offered her drink. At first she did not take it, she was eyeing one of the girls trying to flirt with Udayveer. She was wearing a shorter skirt and was trying to ran a hand in his hair. Udayveer stepped back, another friend led the girl away. Manyata grabbed the drink and started to gulp it down.

Udayveer caught her eye.

She turned away from him and ordered another drink. Udayveer came over to the bar and shook his head at the waiter.

The waiter understood his orders and brought her apple cider instead. She looked down at it and pouted.

"How come you are choosing my drinks now? I am an independent girl or I could have been before you came and too me away from everything I knew," she stammered, since the one drink had slightly affected her.

He pulled her off the stool and led her away from the guests before they really started to stare at her.

"Manyata what is this?," he inquired.

She grabbed his collar.

"Why did you tell me you loved me? I think you only said it because you will get two kingdoms. Tumhe mujhe se pyaar nahin hai," she cried.

He released her hands off his collar and grabbed her arms.

"Manyata I am not the same anymore. Since the day we met at the beach my life has changed for the better," he declared.

She looked at him stunned.

"So you feel nothing for those girls?," she asked.

"If I did why would I bring you here? I would have gone behind your back," he hissed.

"Udayveer tell me the truth, do you really love me?," she asked.

He turned solemn.

"The real question is if you actually trust me Manyata," he said as he loosened his grip.

She grabbed his wrist as he turned away. He slowly turned to look into her eyes.

They were teary eyed.

"Pagal, of course I trust you! Main baas aoni zindagi par yakeen nahin kar payi hoon," she declared. (Of course I trust you. I just can't believe that is actually my life.)

He cupped her chin.

"Think about everything that has happened Manyata. So much has happened yet you and I are here together, both safe and sound," he declared.

She smiled.

"Chalo, I am sorry. Let's go enjoy the party," she said.

He smiled and then swept her off to the dance floor. Manyata gave an animated response everytime anyone questioned her about living in a chawl her whole life.

"Wow Manyata, so Udayveer was really like your prince charming. It seems like a modern day Cinderella," one of the girls exclaimed.

Unnati smiled.

"It truly is. Dada truly cares for Manyata. They are the best for each other."

"Yes but are you both in love with each other? Everyone knows it was always hard to peek beyond Udayveer's walls," one of the girls commented.

Manyata looked over at Udayveer who was talking politics with some others.

"Pyar toh hai, but I cannot tell you if either one knows the depth of it,"Manyata said.

Later on Udayveer went to drop Manyata home. Unnati was with them but the couple forgot this for a moment.

Udayveer grabbed Manyata's wrist. Unnati smiled with glee and sat back in her seat.

" You were so jealous when those girls were throwing themselves at me right?," he asked.

She rolled her eyes.

" I don't have enough feelings for you to be jealous if another girl is all over you. I just didn't want to see that. It was disgusting me," she snapped back.

"Haha. Jhoot mat bolo Manyata. I can totally tell when you are lying," he said.

" You are too much. Seriously there is nothing I can see about you that makes all those girls go after you! There is nothing special about you Yuvraj Udayveer Singh!," she spat out before pulling her hand out.

Unnati's laughter filled the car.

Both of them turned solemn and looked away from each other.

Manyata rolled her eyes and stepped out.

Udayveer came out of the car as well.

"Manyata good night!," he said.

She groaned and stomped away.

He laughed at her retreating figure.

" Dada how long will she stay mad at you?,"Unnati asked.

"Pata nahin but she will have to deal with me sooner or later,"Udayveer quipped.

Unnati shook her head and sat down in the passenger side of the car.

She ignored his calls for most of the following day. He decided to pay her a visit after his work was done for the day.

He took blessings from Komal , Dadisa and then Brijraj asked him to join him for a drink. Udayveer glanced up towards Manyata's room but joined Brijraj anyway.

Brijraj mentioned something about Manyata's strange behavior a few days before.

Udayveer smiled.

"Girls are like that Brijraj Uncle. They try to make things harder even when they don't need to be," he stated.

"Udayveer there is still time. If Manyata is not your choice or if you need the marriage date delayed you can let me know," Brijraj stated.

"Nahin Uncle. I think February 28^th is the best date for the wedding. The sooner Manyata and I are married the sooner she will accept her reality," he stated firmly.

Later on Manyata was reviewing her lessons when she heard a knock on the door. She groaned.

"I have all this to study. Who is this now?," she lamented.

She stopped short to see Udayveer standing there with flowers.

"Tum yahaan kyun aaye ho?," she inquired.

"I know your plan Manyata. You are creating doubt so I won't marry you but J Nandini instead," he declared.

She looked at him puzzled.

"What are you talking about?," she said.

" J Nandini telling us where you were that night didn't come without a price. You decided to gift wrap me as a present and give it to her. You told your father to ask me if I was sure about you," he said sternly.

She looked at him stunned.

"Where did you get this idea?," she exclaimed.

He shook his head.

" Not an idea but the truth Manyata," he stated.

Her eyes turned downcast.

"Dekho you have six weeks to learn about your responsibilities and to be a free woman. However on February 28^th you will be mine whether you like it or not!,"Udayveer declared.

She looked up at him astonished. Just six more weeks of freedom?

Udayveer realized Manyata was acting up as one last ditch effort to disengage the chances of their wedding. He confronted her about it. Now will Manyata admit she loves him now or later. She egged him on to admit his feelings, but she hasn't said she loved him or how much she cared for him, nor has she really shown him besides the cheek kiss.
