Life is tough, there are people with varied understanding and minds, and no surprise that people can be Nobel prize winners but with some weakness's or wrong doings towards you, that you might try to point out for good. What should ideally be done?

There are friends/family who donot apprec direct comments on the weaknesses or something you don't like, should you be outspoken (might be taken in wrong sense and might never talk to you) and spill it out or just wait for friend/family to realize thier mistake ?

There's a time when you can interfere and time when you should know not to. No hard and fast rules as far as friends are concerned.

It's tough, at times, when you see a very dear friend under the influence of some bad element and all you can do is just be there for them. They may not want you interfering with their life. It always depends on the kind of relationship you have with that friend.

At times, it is best to let them learn from their mistakes BUT when they come around and reach out for you, make sure to be there for them. Do not hold their mistake against them. Sometimes, people say stuff that might hurt you or indulge in stuff that might hurt them when they are under someone's influence. Give them time, they'll come around.

There are friends, and there are friends. It all depends on how close I am to them. Moreover, one can be frank without being brutal. I'd rather that I told them than them suffering someone else's barbs. And if they are family, then I will give it to them as good as it gets. And I expect the same from my friends and family. 😛

If you shut up keeping all those thoughts in the head, you will explode. Somebody has to speak up and bear the lynching.

if the person matters, then speak the truth but in a loving way, not in patronising or prechy way. Its more about being unafraid to tell the truth than about being outspoken.

If the person doesnt matter, then be outspoken, tell them what they want to hear, and then enjoy telling them the truth when it all goes wrong.....

Yes.....I am bad.......and I wont apologise for it either.
