I meant whiners usually don't succeed at whining in rl , as the audience is limited, they will be ignored or people just walk away from them . In vl they are empowered by the size of the audience and the fact that they will be heard (read) on the open forum. Could be main reason pm is not choice method for making personal digs or whining about all that one is unhappy about. 😊

i don't agree with u here. even in rl, u can't always ignore whiners. at times it requires one to be upfront to the extent of being rude and letting them know that one is not interested in their whining. i feel it is lot easier to ignore negative people or whiners in vl as all one needs to do is just skip over their posts or just refrain from reacting to their posts.

same goes for double faced people who attack on open forums and then scurry back to pm u and claim that they r doing that just for the heck of debating...that they don't mean anything personal. why can't they claim that in open forum?

as it is, i am little apprehensive about using pms for "airing" my thoughts kinda messages. one never knows to whom they get forwarded to eventually!!! i have a bigger problem with two faced people...... those, i feel, r even worst than the so-called "whiners" we see in vl.

as it is, whining is very subjective. one has a tendency to interpret what's written in a post depending on unn key dil mein kya chor hai. they might end up reading a lot more than what's intended or not intended at all depending on what they themselves r....kinda like chor ki dadhi mein tinka😉 hope i'm making sense here😊

speaking up for the whiners, sometimes that's the only recourse in vl. given that rules apply, one cant always play football in the mud and rain however much one might be tempted to.😉 dont know when the ref might whistle you out. so if u're not gonna play that kind of football, why let the other guy have all the fun? 😉in rl, one can show folks which side is up. greater opportunities for free-wheeling persuasion exist in rl 😉 😊

no assumptions here. just facts...based on my personal observations and experiences. heck, even i read too much into posts at times depending on what's going on between me and the poster. human nature i'd say.

See even you resorted in characterization (unknowingly perhaps) when whiny posts were ignored in the first instance..!!! so much of that advice to ignore them.. 😊 I rest my case here.. We can go on discussing this and the rest till vl takes over our rl but I need my rl to pay the bills..😊
