aur ek baat samajh naheen aayee. yeh akbar ney Mecca ko samajh kya rakha thhaa....kala pani 😕 jo bhi gaddari karey ussey mecca bhej diya 😆 😆

thruout the movie i was wondering why they never made us study the "love story" b/w the two....baaki saree ladaiyaan rata rata ker maar dali 😡 jo cute stuff thha woh sab gol 😡 😡 😡

over all, a nice movie to be watched at home 😊 hritik looked drool-worthy. there was a scene where he was practicing talwarbazi in his mahal....topless 😛 some gals actually seetiyan maaree thhee during that scene 😆 😆 he looked real good there 😆 bas, abhi filhaal itnaa hee yaad hai...baki baad mein 😉 😆

TFS perfect movie to take family and blabbering friends along and take nap or two while claiming enjoyed the company more then movie .😆

Bollywood thoughts...will absolutely go to cinema hall and see this movie..have great regard to this new generation of bold movie directors / makers👏...bahut hua melodrama😛...after Anurag's khashyub's movie..am all in bold movie that doesn't hit the masses but overall focuses on some cause..alas less understood by common man...😉

It seems there were protests at that time too but it was settled out of court (as per one interview). It didn't reach people because medium was not that strong. These days people have interent so google and protest😆.

BTW the negative publicity did garner more viewers for otherwise long movie😉. Ashutosh Gowarikar needs to learn crisp editing.

Jodha was also Akbar's Queen in the 1953 film called Anarkali which predates Mughal-e-Azam. Tab kya hua tha? 😆

Ok in the 1953 there was no internet so either people didnt know or didnt care..as to who was jodha... they only learnt it in one history class thats it.. the mucking around of accuracy was more a handiwork of researchers... also they were just fatigued driving the british and cursing the muslims for pakistan etc... 😆

Mughaeazam had other indulgences.. like people were curious to find which one was better, the all muslim venture or the earlier all hindu venture.... 😆 - I think that was a close match...bet' naushad and C Ramchandra...

Now people have internet..lot of conflicting information and a good chance of finding the wrong things... nobody to fight against... nothing better to do...so they have taken it out on aaja nachle, jodha akbar.. and bickering on petty issues 😆

You know, Mughal-e-Azam had another huge mistake: Anarkali dancing in the Sheesh Mahal (Lahore Fort) which was actually built in Shah Jahan's era, long after Akbar. I say this is unacceptable. Ban the movie, destroy the original film and arrest Dilip Kumar and Lata Mangeshkar (the only surviving members of the cast and crew). 😆 Burn effigies of well...I dunno, somebody. 😉

Seriously though, I agree that it has become "fashionable" nowadays to stir up one controversy or another no matter, issue or no issue. Besides, more often than not, it's free publicity for the film. 😃 They must be enjoying themselves. 😉

I think we should find the names of all historically inaccurate films and persecute the people behind them.

Btw how dare Oliver Stone change the story of Sohrab Modi's Sikander.
