We have been hearing in increasing divorces in Indian community (in India and overseas) because of various reasons (cannot name all of them). Do you think that there is something one should (either husband or wife) do to avoid this situation?

sign up a pre-nup

is one spouse mistreats another, he/she returns all the dowry money+marriage expenses

if one spouse divorces(right after the GC or getting a visa approval) the spouse filing for the visa can go ahead and cancel the GC or Visa

will stop a lot of marriages from even happening😆

Pre-nup's are definately the way to go, and i hope the courts in the UK will begin to treat them as binding soon.

Divorce, not just within the Indian community happen for many reasons i.e forced marriages, rushing into things too quickly, social and peer pressure, the focus on 'number one' etc

Its impossible to avoid it simply because it is not something you can predict. However you can protect yourself, for example with a pre-nup.

Marriage is a life changing event, and in this day and age its best not to rush into things.

I know... Marraige ko khel samjh kar rakh liya hai (exciting game tho😆)... Anyways there are lots discussed on same in past here is linkPlease read and let us if we need to debate indifferently...BTW - divorces were there from decades no big deal, only thing is they more visible as there is more exposure...thanks to media / www wtc, how it is becoming a culture fail to understand. Divorce is easy way like drop outs, yeah yeah if something is really bad fine otherwise...it's kind of weakness in many criterion by people involved in divorce. ( sorry...no offy...wait my actual thoughts, you will be surprised 😛)
