Yep remember this is a small village, may it was lack of education that prompted them( parents) to do. I think the teacher should also have been responsible, it was her duty to find out the reason for the girls absence from school, strange even parents did not get to know why their daughter was missing school?
Hitting out at children verbally and physically is commmon practice in India, there have been instances ( read in the newspaper) where teacher thrashed a child so hard that he or she became deaf. We do not reason out but lash out.

i think the fault is of the parents as when they found that the girl is not going school for 8 days at the same time they required to think seriously and required to talk to in depth with the girl and make her understand what she is doing its totally wrong .. in school there is some fault from tachers side also as when teacher know about poison she required to hospitalised instead of sending her home but we can not put whole blame to teacher .. as i think most faule is from parents side ...

Such a tragic story... 😭
It was mainly the teacher's fault, because she should have taken her to hospital! 😡 😡 😡
Her parents should have thought about the girl's life before giving a lecture! 😡 😡 😡
They should be understanding and connect with their children!
But the girl shouldn't have taken poison or missed school but she should have spoken to someone and talked about. But again, I hope that teacher lives with this guilt forever!!! 😡 😡

Well jeez.........what's more important, saving a young girls life or saving your own butt from the police? I think that was a stupid decision on the teachers part, and as for the parents, I guess it just show's how much they really loved their only daughter. 😡

firstly, i think it is the teachers fault, cuz in the situation him/her wuz the adult and she wuz just a child....the teacher should have had common sense to atleast alert someone and take her to the nearest hospital...
secondly, the parents are to blame aswell....they should have taught her a lesson later and taken her to the hospital first.....she could have been saved...its a very tragic story....did they find out why she committed suicide?

i agree with you sweetsorrow18
