Should India have a permanent UN security council seat?
Gordon Brown has said world institutions should be reformed to reflect the rise of India and Asia. Do you agree?😉
Mr Brown has said global institutions should become more representative and has backed India's bid for a permanent place on an expanded UN security Council.
He also supported changes to the International Monetary Fund, the World Bank and the G8 to "reflect the rise of India and Asia".
The UK prime minister also said there was "a prize for all of us" in a 21st century India working with a 21st century Britain in "a partnership of equals".
Would international reform make a difference? Do we need to change institutions to reflect the growing economic power of India? Can India and Britain work together in a "partnership of equals"?
