All these theories of catastrophic disasters, be they geographical, natural, extra-terrestrial and what have you! Fat chance of those happening!

The world will end because we humans will destroy each other as a result of our bigotry, politics, greed, intolerance, selfish, and religious agendas. This is the most likely eventuality than anything that I have read or heard off in any thesis or any documentaries on this subject. We "humans" will end this world, and the way things are going that day is fast approaching.

That's very apocalyptic and incredibly possible. I'm going to, though, give humanity the benefit of the doubt and say that we may be making progress to a more elevated place, closer to a utopia (never reaching but close enough) then to a state of self destruction.
Because to me, right now, it seems we can go either way.
