A BBC poll has found that three-quarters of British people are optimistic about the future for their family. And more than 90% of people said they are very or fairly happy with their family life.
This comes against a background of fewer marriages and more cohabitation. The decline of the traditional family has become a political issue and Tory leader David Cameron has made promoting marriage a key political aim.
Do you feel optimistic about your family's chances of staying together in the modern world? Are you happy with your family life? Are you optimistic about the future? Do we need to do more to promote marriage?
