It is always winners history, whoever wins, writes the history, and the truth is written on their behalf

IMO Pandavas were as much of cheaters as much as Kaurava's

Karna, his brother, Bhismhma, Duryodhana, Jaidratha, Dronacharya and the list goes on and on

Would not differ from lil bit and say all were politicians, before also I mentioned before Lord Krishna's advise during Mahabarat was highly political, securing the interests of people who were sufferer's becuase on wrong doing of opponents.

So i recently finished watching the whole Mahabharat for the second time around........and i LOVED it! I was addicted to it to the point that my husband threatened to divorce me if i continued to watch it. 😆

while watching the battle of kurukshetra unfold one thought kept on coming to my mind over and over again........did the Pandavas win the war by cheating?

all of the great warriors killed by the Pandavas were killed by deceipt......Bhisma, Drona, Duryodhan, Karna etc.

what do you guys think?

Everythings fair in a war against wrong thats it... If you a cheat a conman you dont become a conman... you become smart... I think you should watch it again and understand that there is a basic concept of right and wrong and that draupadi didnt wear hipsters.....😆

Yes....Mahabharata is a wonderful epic.Written wonderfully....the Pandavas...
  • Mahabharata..is a good reference for Rajaneethi. In that epic.(based on true story..like the latest bollywood films😉😛)..the heroes are the Pandavas...the acts of Pandavas are justified by some logic...which does are immoral...
  • Mahabharata represented the traditions in the society at that point of time.During that time.....the women population was less....so Polygamy was prevalant well. The reasons justifying the introduction of that aspects in the mahabharata sound very silly..remember..how Draupadi was shared among the pandavas....these 5 brothers shared draupadi..becuase they donot want to breach the orders of their mother kunti....after marrying Draupadi in swayamvar.....Arjuna with his brothers...came to his mom ......then yudhistara...told to mom.."Mummy! Mummy! We brought a thing...." then Mummy Kunti said"My dear kiddos! Share it equally among urselves.."..they said "Ok Mamma!" Poor Arjuna!😛
  • Mahabharata represents different types of human psychologies..... All the humans are good and evil at any point of time. Each person has one or the other talent....If we examine Mahabharata....each character has good ness in it,none is perefectly evil...even in real world all the humans are like that....😊

In war if you don't kill first , you get killed first.. that is what war means , end of one party. Of course cheating should not be done in day to day life but war is very much different and it is a matter of survival. Pandavas knew they were up against much stronger and bigger opposition from Kauravas and they also knew with Krishna's help they can outsmart them in way not possible by reasoning with them.

If I had to question the characters of the Pandavas, I would do it for putting their wife at stake in the game...😡

playing foul in the war that follwed are petty crimes compared to it!😳
