I was just watching Zee news...and the Prime Minister was addressing a deal....and these people were yelling things like "Deal wapis lo" and on the other side the PM was giving a speech....I mean you couldn't even hear him....I think that is really disrespectful..I didn't know where to post this so I'm posting it here 😳..

What do you guys think?

Hi Rushivi99 ji!

Welcome to Debate Mansion 😊 . I'm Mythili ..the least controversal person of DM...😛

Intorduction apart...

Regarding respect given to Prime Minister.

I too felt bad for the things that happened in the parliament.

It shows following aspects of present Parliament :

  1. Prime Minister is not a good orator. He cannot impress the folks in the parliament itself..imagine the ordinary janta...
  2. It shows the degradition in the standard of the Members of the parliament.
  3. The standard has degraded so much that they ...beat ...fight ..for the issues of the people
  4. Lol..some even take money to speak the issues of the people
  5. The interesting thing shown in NDTV ..about the MP's is somany MP's don't even know the basic issue of this Nuke deal and they don't know why they are shouting against....Manmohan ji
  6. Even then we have good Mp's ..who are hope of future India😊

Cheers,

Mythili

I also watched MLAs fighting in the Municipal Council assembly in DElhi. They were really manhandling each other, beating, kicking etc. It is very shameful, at least one should respect the position of PM no matter what is his role as PM. May be he is puppet but still he is PM. I am sure people must be laughing while watching them. My kiddo was shocked while watching.

Till he was not made to wear a chappal ki maala, I wont say it is a disrespect

anyone ever catch the coverage of the British Parliament 😆

On a serious note

I think the Bill you talk about here is the Indo-US nuclear bill and some feel that the PM is unilaterally sacrificing the nuclear capability of India, something that took India over 30-40 years to build and got penalized for it, now after all that effort they feel he is just sacrificing it, right/wrong dont know, they should have a discussion about the topic, not that he should just sign it without consulting anyone, this is a matter of national security

I feel the opposition to stall the bill, make sure they get a proper understanding, if they dont get the understanding, whatever they do to stall it, I will not have a problem with it 😉

Have also seen such things in Japanese Parliament.😆 Guess it happens everywhere.😃

Btw, coming to the original topic, I feel since India is a Democracy and there's freedom of speech, everyone has the right to protest irrespective of whether it's targetted against the PM or anyone else. As long as it doesn't turn physical everything is fine.😛
