ARE JOURNALISTS ONLY INTERESTED IN SENSATIONALISM?

DO U GUYS really think tht journalists r only itnerested in sesantionalism? i mean it isnt given the highest importance rite?

As Bennet & coleman reprentative on a debate on journalism put recently , they are selling what news the people want and for the people who read it. Even if the journalist would like to capture the truth and present it , the news which is shown is more sensationalism based. They will be too keen to show some old guy eloping with a 20 yr old but hardly do we see news which should really matter, the farmer suicides, the lack of rural developlment etc.
to cut a long story short , its the money minded heads rather than journalists . Google p sainath.
