interesting post. My uncle believed the same 30 years ago. His kids chose not to learn our mother tongue. They are trying hard to learn it now.. They both feel they made a mistake and my uncle feels he should have forced them!

O how very much I detest these people... People who are comfortable with their identities usually don't do this. I start shouting in Gujarati in the middle of the road to some of my desi friends and they are just like 😲. They get totally embarassed, but WTH!
