🤣 Looks like I'm the nerd of the day ... topic ka subject line dekh ke maine socha ye koi medical topic hai. You know, stealing hearts from certain patients or cadavres for transplants. 😆 Imagine my dil ki haalat when I realized our Raj kumar was talking about the filmy dil churaane waali baatein 😉

Okay... honest opinion. How absurd!? Where will we draw the line. Next thing you know, parents are being sued by perfect strangers because they choose to discipline their kids in a manner which is disagreeable to the stranger. Kuch to had hoti hai yaar.

The spitting law - it's a city in Florida. You know there's still a law in Texas that a man can beat his wife on a particular day of the week. 😕 Arcane hogwash laws.

You can pass as many laws as you like, but to absolutely no effect (I'm speaking of India) as the concept of enforcement is next to non-existant. But that's a separate debate topic (can we also please address the deplorable emergency water drainage system... oh so much to talk about).

Dil churana hai to kuch mehnat bhi karni padegi. Aaj kal ka Heartland Security Agency kaafi strict aur advanced ho gaya hai. Nearly everyone with enough common sense has invested in an advanced Dil Safe System. The encrypted layers of dramebaazi, pataaoing needed and heart access points are only breached by those who are truly dedicated and determined 😉
Dil phek logon ke liye ek minimum security version bhi hai; easily breached by simple line-maaroing and ishaaras. 😉

Don't we all wish the same! Walking down streets would be so much easier!

Err..can't point to the day or even town/county this law is still in effect. I had heard/read of the law a long time back...
As to the why... in the colonial time women were typically thought of as men's property. While wife-beating was mostly prohibited and frowned upon, some groups felt that a man had the right to beat his wife for "correctional purposes" ... a form of discipline.
The beasts of our society are man-made and self-imposed.

😆 Glad I wasn't the only one...

And while we're on the topic of stolen hearts and Hemachandra... I don't mind at all. But he does need to go to jail... mere dil ka jail! 😉
