But still that doesn't help because HIV positive patient now gets the same treatment from people which lepers used to get one time. It is sad but that is the truth. So why can't govt. do something which forces people to take the test and avoid contracting it? We were successful in eradicating Small Pox. At least we can control HIV if not eradicate.

best thing Govt can do is spread awareness and teach its citizens to have some civic sense, preach safe sex and safe transfusion mechanism, but a lot of people have problem with this, do you remember how much hulla gulla there was when Colin Powell talked about Absitence, can you ever imagine any Indian politician talk about sex😆

so yeah they will take your advise in India and make it compulsory, since that is an easy way out

making it compulsory wont work, I know two democracies

US: they try to put this kind of a law, wont even pass congress, they know ACLU wont let it thru

India: certainly they can make it compulsory, but do-char hari patti doctor ko de do, declare ho gaya certify non-HIV positive😆

so this talk of making anything compulsory is all theory, so why not the theory that would work?

Do you think that HIV test should be made compulsory ?

Do you think that a thalsemia test should also be conducted so that the offsprings are safe from these diseases ?

Isnt these more important than matching horoscopes ?

Yes!

Yes!

Not too necessary (Thalasemia)

Yes!

I say the Thalasemia test is not too necessary because both the parents need to test positive and even after tht there are 25% chances that the kid might have Thalasemia... This shouldn't be a factor affecting a marriage...

However... a person's HIV status is necessary to be disclosed to the partner for the safety of both and the kids, if any...
