Nice topic at right time! Yesterday when I was having chat with my boss we discussed this!

Posing to be transperant is part of corporate culture! Imposing non transperency in work is PSU(public sector unit) culture!!

However any employee needs to know the information he/she deserves to know! Why bother about unnecessary things? Why should'nt we get the information we need to get? These are the days of right to information act!But I did'nt find any problem in getting the info I need as I'm informed about it and I'm not bothered about the info I'm not needed to know!

Cheers,

Mythili

Thanks for response, Appreciate you could interpret the post inspite of "NO" missed ..lols.. kinna of agree on "Posing to be transperant is part of corporate culture! Imposing non transperency in work is PSU(public sector unit) culture!!" Walked into one office last week was surprised to see, from CEO to HR were in open cubicals, I was like CEO not in closed office. Later they explained me the reasons and made sense, all are in for accomplishing common goal then why hide stuff. Still one cannot talk talk to resources one to one in public... just some random thoughts
