Waise, question -- joint account or just your own? Does this mean money will become home-breaker? 😕

OOOOKKKKK.. Money-matters.. who knows better than an aspiring accountant 😆

My advice: Allocate money to different targets! Saving just for the sake of saving doesn't help Money in bank seduces you to spend it on "Enjoyment"

Money management is a tough job...but it becomes more tolerable when you having well-defined goals e.g. estimate what you need for a home in a good location. Then set the target over years...even if you have a home... you have saved money..and can buy another if you want. Investment is a BETTER way than saving. Believe me, money gets rusted if not allocated! Try to see your investment opportunities. keep a look on the market, think before you invest..

Even then if you want to save...try saving in something which is easier to liquidate. e.g. Gold, Property [you can say...it depends on location and demand], etc. Again..think twice about money-matters...because it MATTERS 😛

Ok I recently watched the movie "Tara Ra Rum Pum"where Saif played this famous car racer who loses his popularity, fame and luxurious life in just one accident which results in poverty and then Saif's character had to stay in a small house with his family trying to cope up with the money problem; Now the main reason for his family's poverty was because he never did any Savings for the future and only believed in enjoying his life for that very moment

Now my question is when u begin a new life with your husband,Is it necessary to do Savings for your future rather than enjoying your life to the fullest?😊But then life will become dull,if u keep on checking your husband's bank balance everyday and vice versa(in case u r a working wife😉)which can lead to insecurities and everyday fights..😕

I have seen many people who only believes in Savings😡and just forget to live a happy and normal life, the entertaining factor just vanishes from their lives as they r only interested in saving money for the future

But at the same time if u behave like the character Saif played in that film, and only believe in enjoying your life without caring about your future, then suddenly if calamity strikes, the future will become dark forever unlike the film where some miracle happens and the family gets their luxurious life back;but thats not possible in Real Life😃.

But the problem is Enjoyment-fun as well as Securing your future don't go hand in hand especially for middle-class families😕...So whats your view on this issue friends😳...

well according to me it is very much necessary to plan your future...you have to think a step ahead..and not just enjoy your present..you shud actually have a balance..in today's world either v find spendthrifts or ppl who wanna save every bit of their salary ..just to enjoy!😡well..actually you shud save a bit of your salary every month so at the end of the day wen money is required you dont have to struggle..

things are never possible until v try and make them possible..v have to make sure tht enjoyment and savings go hand in hand..so tht life isnt difficult to live!

Good question Joyti. This happened to one of my relatives too. The irony of it was that he was in insurance business but never made plans for his own family.......... I guess sometimes its the thinking that it won't happen to us!

Ok, I feel we should definitely enjoy the present, for who has seen tomorrow? However, if we can be practical and do a little Forward Planning i.e. by putting aside whatever we can for an education fund for the kids or old age insurance without overdoing it, then it would be great.

Sometimes people who live from paycheque to paycheque or the poor may not have much choice in planning for the future anyways so make the best of life each day.

Cheers😳

Living in present and enjoying does not mean you have to blow up all the money . You still can enjoy present by finding the best deals around and planning too. At the same time save some for future, kids education, retirement or rainy day.

New york life makes your tomorrow today.. Dont make your today tomorrow... enjoy the today... dont ever trust in future... you know that song...

aage bhi jaane na tu,

picche bhi jaane na tu,

jo bhi hai bas yahi ek pal hai...

Just keep something for the rainy day though.. .but live life now... you may not be able to enjoy that same thing tomorrow...😊
