Hello DM hunters😃..Every six months I make a Guest Appearence in this Forum whenever some confusion goes on in my mind😆😕😳..I m sure DM members r expert in clearing confusions😉😛..

Ok I recently watched the movie "Tara Ra Rum Pum"where Saif played this famous car racer who loses his popularity, fame and luxurious life in just one accident which results in poverty and then Saif's character had to stay in a small house with his family trying to cope up with the money problem; Now the main reason for his family's poverty was because he never did any Savings for the future and only believed in enjoying his life for that very moment

Now my question is when u begin a new life with your husband,Is it necessary to do Savings for your future rather than enjoying your life to the fullest?😊But then life will become dull,if u keep on checking your husband's bank balance everyday and vice versa(in case u r a working wife😉)which can lead to insecurities and everyday fights..😕

I have seen many people who only believes in Savings😡and just forget to live a happy and normal life, the entertaining factor just vanishes from their lives as they r only interested in saving money for the future

But at the same time if u behave like the character Saif played in that film, and only believe in enjoying your life without caring about your future, then suddenly if calamity strikes, the future will become dark forever unlike the film where some miracle happens and the family gets their luxurious life back;but thats not possible in Real Life😃.

But the problem is Enjoyment-fun as well as Securing your future don't go hand in hand especially for middle-class families😕...So whats your view on this issue friends😳...

I would say you should save for future. If you have enough saved up then you can enjoy later. You never know what is there in days to come.

Your future will depend on your present! How well one lives it; to get happiness one doens't need to be superfluous.

How about this? Instead of checking each others' pockets every other day 😆, open a bank account! Save a % of your incomes in it; once you got money, use some bit to take a vacation, etc. or keep saving for need; use the money from the other account to pay bills, and ENJOY life. 😆

There you have it.... I don't know if this approach is supposed to cause fights or how you begin to discuss so with your partner but sounds ideal to me at the moment. 😃

Persy

Ps. I think there is a feature where some of the money can automatically get deducted from income, and saved in a bank.... so, after some time, you just might forget that you have been saving😆 and enjoy life to the fullest in what you get on the pay-check, and no need prying on the partner.... bank statement shall do.😛😆

A healthy balance, as pointed out by QT, is the key to a happy present and a happier future 😊
