A renowned institute would open doors for you, then its upto you to prove your mettle.

To an extent, the school's name gets you your very first job. After that, it's pretty much what you know and whom you know....school's name still matters, but later on it's your own experience and how well you present it to others matters most😊

now thats like an experienced person speaking and i concur with you. school name matters in getting you a job but then how much you give to the company or people, your experience, your wits matter, school name then is only peripheral at that point

itz actually gotta be balance of both..!!!😊 you mite come from the best school but only if your intelligent enuf you can get into a good college..and coming to job oppurtunitities. i think they shud b given on the basis of their intelligence and not from which institute they have gradutated..but obviously tht matters too..so..a balance of both would do good for us!!

but personally..an intelligent kid wud do well in any institute..or work place...!!

i do agree tht school name matters..but those are secondary stuff..the main thing is your potential..which will b tested even if your from the most prestigious insitute!

Studying from a normal institute may be ok if you are smart and intelligent enough. The problem is, does this institute have good academics as mentors to guide you???

One other thought is that if you have a degree from a renowned and reputed institute it carries a lot of weight. I see that on daily basis when students for graduate studies are assessed.

I also wanted to add that in GPA calculations of someone's Batchelor's degree from a reputed institute for graduate studies carries more weight than an institute that is not that much recognized.

But in the end the student also has to be responsible and industrious to pull good GPAs.

rite..wen u will be tested 4 job, u can write on the question paper that u are 4m so n so university or school, so this job is my property n i must get get it.... nooooooo u have to write answers there, u have to go thru several interviews which u can do only if u are intelligent

😕 writing answers for a job interview.....that's not how it works here..and most of the interviews here are behavioral....a great school prepares you lot better for such interviews by ensuring an over all personality development😊
