Ghulam saab is touring the US - has been and will be here into June as well. As for Rahul's comments... dhang ki baatein purani ho gayi hai janaab ke liye... kuch bedhang likhna tha unhe quota balance karne ke liye 😛 😆

ohnoo...... I will pay money not to have to attend such torture 😉 I am yet to find any other MD close to as overrated as he is.
In QT's nonPC lingo, he is described as self-plagiarising king of cacophony.

Okay.. no offense meant to anyone / AAR-
His accomplishments speak for his fans and himself. My opinion doesn't count, but still is mine :) so read it for fun and let go, unless it REALLY hurts you. Then let me know and will edit.

I attended JS concert too and was impressed, although he walked off towards the end because a woman went up to the stage while he was singing to give him a request "chit" 😉!

Bruce Springsteen and Sting - outstanding 👏 No lip synching there, too.

IMO - the brave don't lip synch 😊

Haha.. duly put off but shall take it in stride. No one's imposing their views on you..though I'm a tad surprised since our likes and dislikes had been so similar to this point. Interesting to note.. cocophany to you is symphony to my ears. I've yet to be put off by his compositions though I'm intrgued by your label of "self-plagiarizing king" ... do share.

I agree about ARR.. He was horrible on Sony filmfare awards recently singing a song from Guru...

I think I prefer the singers live perfomance recorded and then played back on the stage for them to lip synch.. Sounds perfect all the time..😛

Each time they have to sing live, so many things can go wrong - sound system, hall, galla kharab hai etc.. went to see Asha B show in Atlantic city last weekend and she was terrible , couldn't sing due to sore throat (prolly can't anyway at her age of 74) and her luggage went missing so she was upset about not having her fav sarees to wear etc.. She mostly recited her experiences for each song (old) with pancham da others and butchered HR's Jhallak dhiklaja (if that is even possible.).😆 Sonu Nigam however is best when performing live..as he indulges in alaap and classical notes.

Sorry Off topic - But whats up with celebs doing shows here and thier lugage is always missing. Same bahana everytime or is it real.

LH - I saw the promo of that show, how did kailash Khair sound in real? was there any lip sync there... I like KK's singing.👍🏼
