I don't like ARR dear. IMO, he has no variety. All his songs sound similar and he stretche words that need to be let alone. Vande Maataram was the last thing i could take with sweet words being so tortured! That is my biggest complaint about his music. I mute him almost always, as I cannot take the ill-placed high notes either. In past, in several of his albums, I could identify musical pieces from his earlier albums. I will have to listen to some carefully, to pin point.. 😆! when u become MOTW, I'll gracefully take it as my punishment .. I am glad that you took anti-ARR comment in a stride 👏. Luv u always, and we will have many singers and composers to love and share 😳.
qt di.
With a heavy heart I accept the fact that you truly dislike ARR's work. Ah well...we couldn't be exactly the same, that would be really weird 😆 Moe already claims the position of being my twin anyway 😆
Hehe.. who can resist Hemachandra 😉 He's a fabulous singer, performer and ... err, I'll stop there 😉 😳 😆
And my dislike for Aish ... well it's nearly legendary 😆
The points you make are rather interesting...and that you dislike Vande Maatram, which is one of my fav compositions by him is funny 😆 Thanks for providing your reasoning.. I really appreciate proper back-up for your opinion 😊 And I give you leave to toruture me ... though in decreased proportion 😆
Now join us on Retro! 😛

😆 Well.. I'm of the mind, if I shell out the dough, I better get what I'm paying for. If I go in knowing that I'll get lip-synching then I don't have a right to complain na 😉
so darling, which of ARR's one or two decent compositions did you like the most?😛😆

Depends on what you classify as decent darling 😉
bas, joh tumko ho pasand, wahi baat kar raha hoon😉😆
😆 So many possibilities!
I honestly do have a hard time choosing from his work.. I like it. 😳 I can only bring down to Vande Maatram (strange now that I know QTdi's perspective on it 😆), the Banyan Project theme, Ye Haseen Waadiya, Saathiya title, Maangalyam, Kehna Hi Kya ... 😳 This list rarely has an end. I really do like his work ... I find it's unique from much of the things being dished out today. There's something about his compositions that strikes a chord within my soul...something very rare with music in general. Few works are able to do that..
