Old is Gold?

Is old really gold or mold?😆 My mom and I had discussion on old movies today. My mom thinks movies in the 70s and 80s were the best. She said old is gold and I said old is mold. Do you prefer old movies or recent ones? I personally think the 90s were the golden age for bollywood. We finally made it past the "angry young man" and the violence.

Aside from movies, what other "old" things do you prefer over the new? Music, fashion etc.

if you are talking about bollywood, i think it depends on your time. your mum might have grown up watching the movies in 70s and so on. so she might prefer the movies of 70s. imo the biggest revolution in bollywood was when there was a whole change of technology and that is when the movies like krrish, dhoom2 etc were released. each decade has a set of classic movies and they will always remain classic 😛 aside from movies other trendy items like fashion etc. comes and goes but it depends on your taste and choice of how you want it to style as classic.

i agree with raunaq,but one thing, i was not grown listening music from 50's,60's but i am ardent fan of old classic hindi movie songs...........aajkal ke gaane to bakwaas lagte hai(sorry guys)......aaj sune to kal bhul jaao n lyrics ki to waat lag gayi hai.............😕.......meaningfull achhe lyrics,acchi poetry,achhe tunes..yeh sab 50's,60's n 70's ke songs me hi sunne ko milta hai.....................abt music,yes OLD IS GOLD..............movies ka itna shouk nahi hai to cant say much abt that...................but jewellery bhi antique bohat hi achhe hote hai,specially kundan jewellery😳..........

I think with mediocre, above average, or just nice entertainment, I prefer contemporary.. But if we are talking about outstanding classics, I love the old jewels.
Not all old is gold.
Now all new is trash. Some new is gold too.
Instead of picking era / age , just pick what's NICE 😆 , that's what I do
