We know that with the invention of electricity, we have managed to do so many things which we could never think about before. Even the world consumption of electricity has increased too much. In the future if electricity supply is decreased then it would be hard for us to live.

So my topic is Can we think about living without electricity?

Which ways it has uplifted our living standard?

No defintly we cant. We go insane if we dont have electricity in our houses for 1 hour, without electricity, life would be possible for us. Imagine sleeping at night, without the AC and without the television on. Its not possible. And in the future, if electricity wouldnt be avalible (Which is very unlikely) They would replace it with something as good. It has uplifted our standard by providing us with many more new techniques of life. It has introduced technology in our life. It has made things easier for us. Many may say that we have become lazy but it has defintly made the production process faster. Now resources are being used more efficently. 😊

Cannot think of living without electricity. Our whole lifestyle is so structure around dependancies of electricity, that it would be hard to survive without it.

2002 ice storm - no electricity for 2 days, felt so helpless and was almost starved to D, that makes me say this.

Well won't list down benefits of having electricity as this post might max out 😊

We were discussing this very same topic in my geography lesson... we thought about all those things that we take for granted which we won't be able to use or do without electricity and there were a lot of things: mobiles (no electricity no charge), light and many other things. Especially in MEDC we do rely a lot on electricity all the technology that has been created and the machines that produce our products run on electricity and without electricity we will find life very difficult. So, electricity is very important and we need to understand how important it is and use it appropriately ...
