Older Actor Rakhee doing mother roles after singing "Kabhi Kabhi.."😆
Madonna chanting Philosophy after saying "who's that girl"😆
All the above mentioned are really real transformations,we need to beleive these are not MYTH or MAYA😆
With that Myth, you have summed up my belief in possibility of an O/N transformation being a SHOW/ a forced measure to avoid a losing battle. The only O/N transformation in the above-mentioned examples is of GOODY and many say it is nothing but BEING CAUGHT IN THE ACT and quickly figuring it out to clean it up.
The other two took their own course of time 😃😃.. Did Jane Goody fake her racial equality for starters? Well, seemingly, she could have. (I don't know her and refuse to judge her) . She cannot have 1/6 th of the world population made at her, can she? May be she started with cleaning up her act/ getting it together. .. a welcome change. Hopefully, it will have more depth to it over a period of time 👏

As we progress through life, our experiences moulds our thought process and beliefs. And sure we do contradict ourselves. I remember some scenarios from my rebellous
i agree..
undergrad days and I wonder" How could I even say that?" 😕.Life definitley changes us, sometimes for better and sometimes for worse. But a drastic change in thoughts cannot happen overnight and sounds very wishy-washy.That happens only when we are convincing others that we agree or diasgree with them and to prove a point.
Even in "Who moved my cheese" Sniff and Scurry discovered the new cheese with a slow and gradual process of discovery and hence were successful.
haha😆😆
It took Valmiki years to become Maharshi from the bandit Ratnakar. If he got up the next day and said " I am a good man and will never loot people", no one would believe him.
EXACTLY!! 😃

How does it feel to be contradicting with one self?
I am sure it happens to most of us on a spiritual level, every now and then. Our texts and our faith make us question some beliefs every once in a while, while we try to be steadfast to our beliefs at most other times. But here, I am asking a question pertaining to our views about a movie / about a debate topic / a race / a nationality / political situation/ reaction to something in life
We all love to bump threads and read our own views from before. We had a discussion about that earlier how entertaining it 😆😆 It is fun when we ask ourselves " what was I thinking" 😆😆
But if someone catches us preaching something else one day and doing exactly opposite?
Can people and their views change and become exactly opposite overnight?
We do have great examples of Maharshi Valmiki (ramayan), or Mahatma Gandhiji. But can sainthood happen overnight?
Good topic QT.
I would say , as far as debate is concerned ... alot many debators ,I would include very good debators here too, debate not necessarily according to their personal views .Alot many of them try to explore the other possibilities , different thoughts. Which I think is good in sense of widening one's own horizon( if take it positively).
Change in personal views never happened over night. It could be good or worst as some one says. Even if it is not so good , still being optimistic I would say atleast that person has an adaptibility ..means there is a chance of positive change, compare to some one ,rigid.

Dew drop, I said something similar in one of the posts and I completely agree. I take O/N change of thought-display as a positive step towards a change 👏.. but give it time to believe that a more profound and heartfelt change actually happened.
PS- Dewdrop is my loving term for you by the way, let me know if you prefer morning dew 😳

Aww my sistah🤗
I just quoted you on HR for fun😆😆 And me likes Abhi too much to say anything against him, it was an empty threat😆😆
But it was good nonetheless coz I got to read such praises for HR😳.... and I was one of those overnight changed females too😉😆 but not for HR, that was gradual.... till Dhoom2 came and hit the final nail 😳.... Overnight change was for Abhi after Dhoom....before that I was the opposite of a fan😉
But is this overnight turnabout just experienced by female minds? I am assuming certain female versions of HR and Abhi can bring abt changes too😉
But then as I mentioned in my second post, overnight changes are inconsequential.... The important ones come about after a lot of deliberation
