I had gotten it confirmed from the moderators that if a person opens a thread doesn't mean that person owns it. All others are free to comment on it. So, your expectation doesn't hold good.

Yeah, right. You can insult everyone else's opinions and intelligence by typing in all capitals saying "YOUR OPINION", "YOUR PERCEPTION" as though what you say is the only right thing and the only truth.

However, nobody else should tell you anything.
