What do you wish to see in an ITV - Page 4

• Progressive content with Good social message

• Educative topics with natural acting

(not OTT contents & cringe expressions)

• No saas-bahu saazish & kitchen politics

(Fav topic of itv makers & trp aunties 🤪)

• Some Fresh & Unique concepts
• Mutual romance (not forced ones)

• Good comedy & Detective series

• No unnecessary dragging in story & episodes so that series can be short but authentic

ITV should show contents like these mentioned above. But It's too much to ask from them ig😆

Oh forgot to mention.

It has to start with a Complete Re-wamp and Re-calibration of Commercial success, that is, TRP system.

The TRP system are a measure for a Channel of the acceptance of a show. One cannot depend on an age-old formula because parameters change with time.

I skipped all extra long paragraphs so ignore if I repeat any points that are already discussed.

1. Less camera angle work. The camera completes more rounds than the whole plot itself.

2. Realistic storyline/characters/description. Some cliche ideas like the main characters being selfless, the most talented, and always ready to save the world can be toned down. Jewelry and costumes included. Plots that go well with Newton's laws and physics.

3. Cut short tanana dhoom tanana moments that take up 20 minutes of 24 minutes episode.

4. Adaptations that do justice to the original work/writer. Also would love to see more literary works getting adapted.

5. Control on death-rebirth-no of marriages-plastic surgeries rate.

6. Shows that entertain different age audiences. To focus on a problem/cause, address an issue in a positive way promoting solutions.

7. Length of the show could be replaced with quality content.

Even though I stopped watching ITV shows 5~ years ago I'm sure nothing (pretty much) changed over time.

I wish to watch suspense thriller type detective stories like Sherlock holmes or Byomkesh Bakshi in ITv.

Today's Tv shows are more TRP based

which is more waste of time. There is less of good content.

We need good content for entertainment

Criteria for good show.

Give more screen space for leads and cut short unnecessary replaying of slaps which is very irritating.

Illogical twists should not be there.

Heavy jewelry should be avoided.

No multiple marriages

Show should not run for many years.

Give proper ending to the shows

Simple n realistic life of "normal girl" without any exaggerations on her beauty, hot headedness or sarvagun sampann personality where her life doesn't revolve around any boy or sacrificing attitudes towards family...

In short some thing realistic....

Also something mysterious

• Good shows with great storyline..

• Finite shows ( just like beginning of tv era )

• Simple , heart touching stories with good content.
•No taam jhaam multi millionaire stories where saas bahus roaming around being mannequins of jewelry or saree stores.

• shows devoid of faltu drama , bigamy , misunderstandings , faltu villain and their faltu planning n plotting, saas bahu nanad khit pit , multiple marriages , multiple plastic surgeries n murder of medical science + common sense etc.

Itvs need to focus on content the most.

On par with current world. No regressive content.

Focus on women empowerment.

Sane MLs and strong FLs no matter they are rich or poor

No forced marriages. Arranged ones with family blessings can be considered. Then show their tashan after marriage. How they cope to their different compatibility levels.

I had an arrange marriage. It can be challenging if u really didn't know ur partner that well before marriage.

Instead of forced or contract, they can focus on arrange marriages between two individuals who are totally far apart.

Most importantly, the FL and ML has few family members so there would be less family drama

Romance and consummation scenes should be well executed. Like someone stated, make sure they are without clothes in the morning 🤣🤣.

Should look authentic. Not artificial.

The females shouldn't be in makeup before going to bed🤣🤣🤣

No bride and groom swaps

No EMA tracks

Lastly, not dragged into too many episodes

A maximum of 300 and not more.

Keep story and flow interesting and connected till the last episode so public will crave for more then restart fresh with season two instead of dragging the same serial with crapfes and illogic tracks.

One very important thing, reduce female villains as they can only talk males are more action oriented. Utilise them more. They can be hot and charming villains with swags but not seventies ka mogambo kush hua style

I see a lot of comments mentioning finite series/ less number of episodes. However I disagree with this point. One of the reasons for long tv series is logistics. People working in entertainment industry need money too. Less number of episodes means less filming and they will need to constantly search for gigs. The sets, the equipments, offices etc need to payed for. Shorter shows mean more chaos.

What I think is, creatives should focus on stories that have scope for a long running series, instead of picking up a story suited for a short series and diluting it to last longer.

What i want are thinking FL and ML..i mean they act smart suddenly and then dumb for 100 episodes where they dont pause to question illogical things....ITV makes a joke of human intelligence and common sense

Intelligent leads are not in their list. Otherwise how would villains win 🤣🤣🤣

A lesson to learn from itvs.

Don't ship leads. U will get heartache constantly.

Ship villains instead. They always get what they want 🤣🤣
