Erm, in case any one was curious, Arnab has not been arrested for using his FOE- he has been arrested because a person died by suicide in 2018 and NAMED Arnab in his suicide note. That is as close to abetment as it gets. So why shouldn't this case be atleast legally pursued? Is this man's loss any less to his family than SSR's loss was to his family?

A few months ago Arnab was himself leading the charge that torturing and bullying a broken man into suicide is the worst thing anyone could do.

I still dont believe in kangaroo courts and that stands for Arnab's case as well. So I hope justice and truth are served in this case of abetment too, without bias. But how is this suddenly a case about FOE?

Well because the case had already been closed a year back. Why reopen it now? And why not summon him first through a proper legal procedure? Dont drag him by physically assaulting the way the videos showed. I am all for that case being pursued through proper legal procedure.

But why are the people so dead against the case for Rhea Chakraborty Butt being pursued so excited about this case???

It depends on how you look at it. All well respected journalist have defamed people and paid the price for it at some time. Best example would be Julian Asange. He sure did defame the Bush and Obama administration. One for NSA spying and the other for human rights violations during war. He is still considered a hero for many.
