Yes, but it’s surprising and funny at the same time how the was able to guess.

I don’t think the only reason was the fact that she was scared. These guys are very observant and pick up on things.

Why did he think she must be Brahmin for being scared? Many women would be scared if a random unknown guy is stalking and harassing her

He was joking.

The guy himself came forward saying that he didn’t think she would go to the cops, turned out to be friend who claimed that he loved her🤢

In cities, these days I have seen cops are actually scared of educated women.

God ...... that was sarcasm???😆. I swear, I was about to start a long post on educating u about the Indian caste system 😬.

On a serious note, do u know why me or autumn-rose were not able to catch the sarcasm??? Bcoz the caste deniers say the exactly same things u said , but with utmost sincerity and seriousness, and with no self awareness.

I really didn't want to say this but since people keep on bringing my "running away from wedding" story again and again on this forum, I have to finally say this.

That story which I wrote was 100% true. Whatever I wrote on that thread actually happened in my life. I got very emotional that day and I couldn't hold myself back, so I wrote my heart out. But then I broke down because of talking about my past, because it really hurts to confront your feelings. I don't like getting sympathy from people as it hurts me more.

So I shrugged it off as a fake story so that nobody sees me as a poor woman. But now that people keep on bringing it again and again as a joke, I couldn't help it, because this hurts me more than people viewing me with sympathy.

Please forget about that story and never bring that up again. I don't want to talk about it.

👍

Probably because of Muzaffarnagar being known as a volatile city with communal tension.

A Hindu girl being stalked by a Muslim guy had led to riots.

He must have picked on certain behavioural characteristics? I’m not exactly sure.

What is caste crime? Caste discrimination is a thing of the past. Nobody discriminates people based on caste. I don't even know the caste of my friends or classmates unless it's somehow gets mentioned by them. We are way over things like caste. Now its just the backward caste people wanting to take advantage of this caste system to get reservation in college and jobs. Because of this, we upper caste people are suffering.

I belong to a poor Brahmin family who wanted to study engineering but didn't have the money to take admission in a private college. So I only had option to study in a government college, but couldn't make it to the cut-off. But my friends who were rich dalits got admission because of reservation based on their caste. Now tell me who got discriminated because of caste? We upper caste people are the ones who are suffering because of this caste system. The only caste discrimination happening now is reservation, and it's need to end.

The political parties don't end reservation system to get their vote banks. The backward classes too are lazy who don't want to work hard. They want everything for free because their ancestors suffered atrocities because of their caste. Now they are reaping benefits of it. What a shame it is!! Reservation should end in India, otherwise it'll never become a developed country. People should be given admission, jobs and promotion only based on merit, not on their caste.

You don't discriminate which is great..you Dont keep tabs on your friends' caste..great

doesn't mean the discrimination doesn't exist. That's like living in a bubble.

Reservation is nothing compared to gang rapes, murders. This is a real issue and we are still focused on reservation.the real problem is india's population and job % . Not reservation. Ask the govt to create more job sectors(they cant) too many students for entrance exams and not enough colleges and all you see is reservation as the problem.

If not for reservation, dalits would not have gotten the chance to rise up and make a place in the society for themselves. The dalits and their families would all be doomed to cleaning chambers, gutters, toilets and all the filth upper class expects them to clean

If you look at these statistics, top state (where more crimes cases are registered) is Rajasthan. But which state comes to our mind? UP. This is what is narrative building. There is difference between soft data (articles picking on an incident) and hard data (statistics).

When it comes to statistics, let me quote from this.

https://www.academia.edu/33841013/Are_There_Caste_Atrocities_in_India_What_the_Data_Can_and_Cannot_Tell_Us

Crime against SC as percentage population is 0.77% . This is actually lower than than the crime against other population (1.18%).-(Page 7)

Also probability of a girl getting raped by a family member is more than that of a girl getting attacked from another caste.

Truly those who committed the crime are monsters. But unfortunate reality is, there are hundred such cases happening every year. But few gets this media coverage, which is based on the state, victim's caste/religion, perpetuator's caste/religion etc. That is for narrative building. Both left and right media do that. (For example, another one happened in Rajasthan sometime ago, which hardly got media coverage). One will not report other cases, which does not suit their narrative.

I am not reducing importance to any event. Yes. Criminals of Hatras have to be sentenced. But Instead of building narrative, one needs to find a solution dispassionately. For example, fast track decision on such cases, which should take less than an year, including Supreme Court decision.

I wish all parties to come together to form such bill which will scare the people to commit crime. (Building toilets in rural areas was also good initiative, as women get attacked while going for that). But where is the will power amongst parties? Everyone including media are selling their agendas instead of finding solution.
