Oh, so this was her ultimate brahmastra for Chhapaak promotion. Deepika's movie in few days and no storm before that? Ho hi nahi sakta.

Now people would either hate on her or love her. And people would start trending #BoyCottChhapaak SKSKSK wait for it

I am very upset to see Deepika supporting Kanhaiya Kumar.☹️ I am heartbroken. I wonder if Meghana Gulzar told her to do so.

I am a hardcore nationalist who will never support tukde tukde University. Have unfollowed many celebrities recently. Was excited about chaapak but now won't watch it.

There are already tweets to boycott her movie as she supports 'tukde tukde gang' and afzal guru. This is much anticipated and she still took that risk. She could have just tweeted in support and please everyone but by going there she certainly rubbed some people and it takes courage in today's time.

Oh god. Cant believe I’m taking DPs side. But this isn’t whataboutery. This isn’t like what Ayushmann tweeted or Hrithik tweeted which was neutral bullshit. This is a stand. There’s no going back from here.

But going there and standing with students certainly boost the confidence of protesters. As I said it doesn't matter if it is for movie promotion. she publicly stated her stand by going there which matters the most. In today's time, there is a high risk that it might affect her movie in a negative way.

Ofcourse risky ...bhakt troll army has begun their venomous trolling already ...

First, let me tell you "tukde tukde" was a doctored, fake video which you still invoke to make your weak argument.

There is still time. You can get rid of the hatred in your heart. Better late than never!

You have no idea how much this means to students who've been protesting for weeks in horribly cold Delhi weather.
