Well I found this article:-

This idiot wanted to convert the tribals and got killed. Now Americans are trying to pin it on Indian authorities when his going there itself was illegal. Also they are trying to deflect the issue by saying that he was not a missionary but an adventurer. Why should India make any damn effort to find his body endangering the guards and tribe?

Why are Americans so ignorant and egoistic that they dont give a damn about authorities in other countries and then blame the country itself.

It's his fault alone 100%... Maybe some blame also lies with the locals who helped him get there for a few dollars

I don't see much support for Chau or antagonism for the Sentinelese tribe generally

If anything Sentinelese people have earned the public's respect & admiration
Most of them agree they should be left alone if that's what they want and blame Chau

Also there are no plans to repatriate his body

According to this article

The US State Department officials in Delhi were aware of Indian authorities' decision to leave the American's body in situ and, according to an unnamed anthropologist involved in the effort, "They understand the situation and are not pressing us. "

This is somewhat unusual for America

He could have upset some of the people there ... it is unfortunate. May his soul rest in peace ...

America never wanted to intervene until and unless they have an interest in there. We should see the geographical position of the city in which this person death took place and see whether it is a geographic position that would somehow benefit the American's government should they intervene.

whole Andaman islands are very strategic. There are oil search going on, they are near South East Asian countries. So yes, many countries will be very interested.

@padfoot
Yeah, that must be the reason why. Otherwise, American government will not give a damn in that area.
