I did read and I listened to music. Not only that..I did my homework. Now walking and cycling in the rain? I dont think so. I know I am addicted to internet..but I have nothing else to do on the weekends besides the internet.

I dunno how life would be without the internet..it would be horrible and boring..i totally addicted 😳 😳

I think it's about habit. When you know you have no other option you will learn to manage and get habituated without internet or any such addictions. Since you know that internet is going nowhere out of your life, accessble with ease, you can't get it out of your head. When I was in India, I could not imagine a single day without Indian TV programs or music(FM), in my free times that's the only thing I would watch or listen. After coming to US, I had no other option but live without those. If people are not indispensable in our lives, then why can't we live without such material thing.

it is def addicting...watch tv/download movies,music/talk to friends...i dont think i could live without the internet...somehow it feels like theres somewhere to, places to explore just sitting on a chair....plus i need the internet for hw...tho i would love not do any hw but since i have to the internet helps 😆

i cant cause i love checking my mails and if i had no internet i would die die die it must be horrible

well, i'd say that i'm addicted but i agree that you can live without. when i was volunteering in nicaragua for 9 weeks, i lived without internet, amoung other amenities, and i survived. it would have been nice to use the internet once or twice during that time to check email, but the experience was worthwhile and entertaining. so it all depends on your situation at that point in time. when i'm home, i wouldn't be able to live without it. it's my connection to a lot of the world.
