There's such a thing as Parental Lock, such as NetNanny.

But what if an adult is exposing a minor to this?
Can po*n be available only to paid members? Why free on www?

Tell me something, have you never watched po*n? Do you not have sexual fantasies for for never having watched it?

People were doing quite well even before po*n was available on WWW. The government banned po*nographic websites, not po*n-plainly because the government isn't sure and cannot yet control how are the materials on these websites produced, its audience and the nuisance.😳

Why should ready availability be controlled (apart for from minors)?

People will always have deviant fantasies, po*n is just a way to visualise them better. That really makes no difference. People who have the mindset of a rapist, will rape with or without po*n.

deviant fantasies is one thing and enacting that with real people is po*n, watching po*n is not like fantasizing its actually being inspired to try that out on the woman next to that guy...its not a good idea...

Wet dreams is common since ages. po*n will be harmful in setting deviant mentality and acting on it...

Then its that adult who's culpable, not po*n itself. Anf if we go by this argument, then we should be banning kitchen knives and the use of fire as well, so people don't stab or commit arson.

You make a good point about restricting po*n viewing to paid members only, but I don't think the Government can do that since the po*n sites are under the aegis of another country's cyber-laws.

That's like saying I'd wanna try out the stunts I see being performed in action movies. Sane folks know the difference between reality and fantasy.

Not everyone is fit and/or bold enough to try action stunts. Everyone has sex. Therefore illogical analogy.

Everyone has sex with CONSENTING people. And the keyword here is "fantasy". Both stunts and kinky sex are fantasies. And if you wanna draw an analogy, then not everybody would be into deviant fantasies either.

Depends on how you define deviant too. A few years ago, anal sex was deviant. Now it's the in thing.

Fifty Shades of Grey kind of films are turning Sadist sex more mainstream too. Incestuous is next I expect.

There's nothing such as 'in' or 'out' sex. People's sexual preferences don't change according to trend.

And hence banning remains the only other option. You cannot say that the sites' origin should effect how the sites run.By your logic Google,Facebook cannot be controlled by our government either.
