yes, it can stop things. the abuse comment above is general possibility, With the entitlements assumed by man out of marriage, many women might be forced to participate in the man's fantasies, orgies.. which can dip beyond that womans imagination.. then we also wonder.. why is there concern around marital rape!!!

But therein lies the problem. First by banning po*n and now revoking the ban on all except child po*n, govt has legitimized all kinds of deviant po*n-anal, incest, bestial, sado-masochist...
Why is po*n free on the internet when all cry big honchos and govts cry hoarse about piracy? Who makes this po*n and hosts it for free?

I know of a man, who travelled the world in his position in a MNC. He had an arranged marriage and on his honeymoon, his poor Indian bride (traditional kinds), ran out from her hotel room into the lobby in just her kameez. She was so petrified and begged all there to take her away from that man.

He was trying anal on her, and behaving as if nothing had happened. Elder people staying there comforted her and her parents had to be called. Ended in divorce.

po*n is not free.. they do provide promo clips free.. but almost all of them have full length long movies..which have montly subscription..its another thing that most guys ejaculate with these small promo clip and are ok with it...😆😆

.Its the only industry which was not affected by recessions that hit the US the last few times...😊

Please tell me how will it specifically stop gangrapes?
Instead it is gonna make some people more sexually frustrated (which first they weren't because they had po*n to watch and relax) and then indulge in activities like rape and gang rape. 🤢

Agreed. Nothing forces you to do anything. Banning po*n doesn't mean rapes won't occur let alone guarantee that. People who want to rape someone are gonna do that irrespective of the fact whether they watch po*n or not. 😳

just cause there is no release in absence of po*n doesnt mean one will resort to gangrape... only certain people engage in it.. because of lack of law and order and the vulnerable position of the girl - why would you want to feed such people free po*n!!!? they would want to try to do terrible things.. no wonder they pulled the guts off that delhi girl..what was her fault... when was the last time that happened in india?

let po*n and unleash these gory crimes against women...i hope govt gets some sense.. and bans it totally

Banning po*n is retarded. And "po*n promotes rape/sexual violence" is an equally retarded argument. po*n has nothing to do with getting a kick out of forcing yourself on an unwilling woman. A lot of people get off on "rape fantasies", but that doesn't mean that they go out and do what they fantasize. Rape is a result of a mindset that completely de-humanises the victim. There are deep-seated reasons for that mindset, which goes back to the beginning of the agrarian settlement.

How is it a retarded argument? A lot of people may not act on their fantasy but some may. It is common knowledge that people try to imitate what they see. Movie stars clothes, songs, mannerisms, are imitated. Similarly someone who is into watching po*n may get incited to imitating reel life without understanding the difference of reel from real. That doesnt mean that all are going to act on what they see but some surely do. So I dont think it is retard. What can be debated is why the ban for everyone. Some restrictions on ready availability is certainly needed.
