All you disappointed folks who are exasperated at how HIMYM ended, let me remind you one thing:

LOST FINALE.

and possibly, OUAT finale.

zephs: where were you? pan died before mid season break, in hands of his own son, rumple, to protect bael and henry and all.

Rumple vanished.

now rumple is back, bael is dead.

Talk about completely ruining a really good show! All these Tumblr rants are making me more disappointed:

"How are people even excited over Barney's daughter????

he was redeemed by the very thing Robin couldn't give him
he was redeemed by a baby that was brought into this world without us ever seeing her mother, just another uterus
he was redeemed by a girl that was his own because don't you know that misogynists can only ever been redeemed by someone they helped put on this earth
he was redeemed by an accidental baby who was born just because the writers undid the nine years of character development they had written for him

THERE WAS LITERALLY NOTHING GOOD ABOUT BARNEY BECOMING A FATHER. NOTHING."

#1 and #4 is what really pissed me off, ugh!

THIS deserves a read - every word is perfect..

that is what i am wondering..last i remember i was following the series diligently and then its like spoof..my memory is gone...

i just don't recall pan dying or these guys losing memory and moving to NYC or rumpel dying..i remember nothing at all...😕

I have reached my conclusion...

its the unbreakable tv law of fantasy disney world..

A plain jane will always have hot guy(s) running affter her, pining for her...well because good girls must always have the hope of attracting and curing bad guys..

and by law of equality..

a nerd/loser will / can get a super hot babe..

yeah, may take 25 years...where the cooler friend eventually fails..and the hot chic comes back running into the arms of mediocre guy..

And that kids is the lesson of this story..no matter what..in romance always keep the disney light glowing..

i dont know how any1 can ship the couple to begin with..its not even ross and rachael..they looked good together..or had some solid story between them..

here..robin never liked ted..😆😛

U drank regina's memory potion.

It was mid season finale and the show just begun a couple of weeks back again. In all, you have total 4 epis to catch up only.

ya did that .. i miss my pan baaba..i liked that kid..

BTW, on LOST.. *evil laughter* i was so glad i did not invest time in that series..😛 i heard finale was a huge let down

actually going by the pigeon hole theory,

I think sherlock handled this ( fans and their obsessiveness of dissecting every possible outcome..which leads to them being left dissatisfied when the finale actually comes around) ..

They never bothered to clear that up 😛.. masterstroke.. .. " Every1's a critic" 😆

But that still doesn't make sense to me Zephs. Neither Ted or Robin were projected to be living this amazing life, where one is more successful/living a more glamorous life. Ted and Robin's relationship was almost always one-sided and like someone pointed out, Ted had this terrible habit of going back to Robin whenever his relationships failed.

Ross and Rachel were completely different and you kinda always knew they'd be endgame after Ross said her name at the altar lol. For me, that show had the most perfect finale in the history of TV shows.

Another reason why the finale was absurd and made no sense:

"they built this show around the concept of ted meeting the love of his life and his children's mother and you introduce us to this mother who is amazing and is so compatible with ted and you let them have 2 children together you don't let them get married until far after that and then you kill her (on this comedy') and then you stick him back with robin? one of the main reasons ted x robin didn't work was she didn't want kids so you make her barren and a step mother? and now this show isn't really how i met your mother. it's how i met your step mother and kept breaking up with her for 9 years but we're back together now so it's chill"

"do not pity the dead, harry. pity the living. and above all, pity those who have been watching How I Met Your Mother for nearly a decade and got a really really shitty excuse of a final episode"😆
