BTW, change is a universal phenomenon, do you think what Islam is today is what it looked like say 500 years ago?

hi solidsnake. bhai ....islam is same....means Quran (holy book) has never changed, not even a single sentence is modified. i agree there are every kind of people are there in this society. good onces and bad once. some are on the right path some or not.a best muslims is who follows Glorious Qur'an and the Sahih Hadith. you cannot judge a religion by the people. there is a example given by Dr. Zakir Naik (Islamic Scholar)

Don't judge a car by its driver:
If you want to judge how good is the latest model of the "Mercedes" car and a person who does not know how to drive sits at the steering wheel and bangs up the car, who will you blame? The car or the driver? But naturally, the driver. To analyze how good the car is, a person should not look at the driver but see the ability and features of the car. How fast is it, what is its average fuel consumption, what are the safety measures, etc. Even if I agree for the sake of argument that the Muslims are bad, we can't judge Islam by its followers? If you want to judge how good Islam is then judge it according to its authentic sources, i.e. the Glorious Qur'an and the Sahih Hadith.

Judge Islam by its best follower i.e. Prophet Mohammed (pbuh):
If you practically want to check how good a car is put an expert driver behind the steering wheel. Similarly the best and the most exemplary follower of Islam by whom you can check how good Islam is, is the last and final messenger of God, Prophet Muhammad (pbuh). Besides Muslims, there are several honest and unbiased non-Muslim historians who have acclaimed that prophet Muhammad was the best human being. According to Michael H. Hart who wrote the book, 'The Hundred Most Influential Men in History', the topmost position, i.e. the number one position goes to the beloved prophet of Islam, Muhammad (pbuh). There are several such examples of non-Muslims paying great tributes to the prophet, like Thomas Carlyle, La-Martine, etc.

like wise any religion may it be hinduism , christian , buddism , sikism or any .. if u want to check the religion u have to read it not just by peoples words... or behaviour of certain person ...

there is no religion where all good peoples are available.. every religion may it be hindusm, christ etc.. in every comunity good ones and bad once are there...
so i request you all to keep this discussion upto the point....

In my opinion ,my religion should come first then another thing because this is the reason why we created to pray for god and follow his rule is like exam you do what ever thing just to get great mark in the end ,and so the life you will leave it and god ask what if done in life should has somehing to answer

All i want to say is to the only members who are thumping the Quran here. India is not a Islamic state BUT a secular state. The rules you apply in your country can not be applied in India.

No , Indian will be able to explain here that living in a secular state is different than living in a Islamic state to a Muslim who is not even an Indian and belongs to a Islamic state. Does not have to ever sing the Vande Mataram. Does not live in India. Does not hold an Indian passport. Its like the SRK debate about is a he a good muslim for marrying Gauri. The non- Indians from a muslim state will call him a bad Muslim. While Indians and Indian Muslims hold him in high esteem.

if something is wrong according to any religion n not only wrong but a great sin then it should not be commited by the followers of that religion. do u thnk this statement is wrong? Like i said its NOT for you to judge !!
n u ppl dont hav the knowledgge of islam at all. dats y some of u were saying dat religion [means islam] can be modified with time but actually EVEN A SINGLE RULE N WORD OF HOLY QURAN N ISLAM CAN NOT BE MODIFIED OR CHANGED. n if someone even tries to do this then he is no longer a muslim.

people should understand.... india is not a country which should go by muslim law or hindu law or any perticular religion law...every one has right of freedom....muslims sacrifice goat , cow. ...what ever permitted for them... but govt never opposed.. not even hindus. that is the great thing abt this country...
