1) What made you take up the volunteering job of becoming the Mod of IF ??

I took it up in 2008, IF was different then, moderators were appreciated, members and moderators made a team generally, and everyone knew they were volunteers trying to organise the forum so that they can have more fun.I worked hard in a forum got noticed , had free time at hand so took it up.

2) For this one, leave the diplomacy behind 😉
As humans, no one is bias free. So how do you deal with your bias when dealing with a forum you are keeping an eye on ?? And what would you like to tell those who abuse their power and show blatant discrimination ??

I try extra hard, sometimes I am hard on my friends , people I care about, celebs I like so that I can keep a balance. But its always hard, because one way or other, someone is always dissatisfied and will call u biased.

I haven't seen anyone who blatantly abused their power in recent times. But if they did, I would wish to remind them IF is just a virtual portal and not the world.🤔

3) What do you Mods gossip about in IF's private section for higher ups ?? Any member who is always the topic of discussion ??

We hardly have time to gossip about. Most mods there handle more than one section and we are busy posting problem threads, editing, comparing notes.

4) I keep reading the statement by Vijay where he keeps mentioning "fans sentiment should be kept in mind before posting anything" Personally I feel that is a biased statement keeping only one party in mind. So my question is what about the sentiments of the non-fans whose get offended by such restriction ??

I agree people should be able to express their opinion freely, non fans or fans, I try to make sure they do. some fans make it worse and protect their celeb like their diamond pendant, but it is also true there are many who are caught in the cross fire, who simply like a celeb, not much to defend them passionately but would love if they are not constantly targetted.I feel both fans and non fans tend to get carried away at times.

5) Do you feel Mods should be paid, if yes what should be the criteria keeping in mind of those who do their job efficiently with very little bias and those who fall in the opposite category.

yes. However I am not sure how many of the current mods would be elligible for that. whenever there is payment involved, there is legally binding contractual obligations as well. Due to age, education, residence, labour laws in different countries it is difficult to regulate and fix a scale and basic terms and conditions as to how to pay moderators for their contribution and what the contribution should be precisely. Some of the viewbies/moderators take on more responsibility handling upto 5-6 forums on a daily basis. How to differentiate min pay and maximum pay, min number of forums , maximum ? work load? a moderator may handle 5-6 dormant forums like book talk, gaming section while one may handle single forum like IPK that can keep them on their toes all the time.

I however concur with RTH, we should have atleast one paid admin and a couple of paid global moderators, who will be hands on 24*7 and work in the forum as daily job. Maybe few paid moderators can also be taken, but they have to be from same coutry governed by same laws.

11) What is your take on Gender roles ? gender equality is more my thing. I was brought up that way. and it really irritates me when I hear same 500 yr old dialogues from rista parties.

12) What is your take on Suicide and people calling it an action of cowardice ?

my sister's friend commited suicide, her parents were inconsolable. Although you cannot say what was the person thinking unless u walk a mile in their shoes, I feel going on is stronger than giving up. But I do not wish to judge. Sometimes life takes you to that flash point.

13) Do you like animated movies. If yes, which ones and why ?

oh yes. I LOWWE animated movies, all of them, specially ones with superheroes. I have watched all animated movies in recent times and expcet early days Disney movies I liked all of them. Quest for camelot , all the Batman movies and Justice league movies, shrek, toy story, despicable me, The princess and the frog, list is endless.

14) Take any 10 members and tag them with Disney/Pixar/any animated characters. On hold, will do it later.

16) 5 things that annoy you about Indian culture ?

all the cliched things that goes on about in wedding talks/ the automatic thought that being a girl you must be tagged with a man at the cost of your career and your hard work,

Giving respect to someone without that person earning it.

The unnnecessary bragging about golden age while pulling an ostrich on recent issues.

The cavaliar attitude towards victims of sexual abuse( of all genders and age),

Dance is not for manly man.

adherance to archaic rules without scope for reinterpretation to suit time. Fundamentals will remain same, but social customs of 14th century should not apply for 21st century

All mainstream branches of all religion usually treat women as second class even if they are worshipping female idol.

Feminism, equality, female rights I think.

Nope never had that much closeness with any male member to have a crush on them.

If Disney princesses were to argue, what would be their topic of debate and how will they sound. Now do the same for the Princes.

Whose hair is what colored, whose gown is what colored and who was rescued in the more dashing way.

Who rescued his princess in the most innovative way and who was the bigger MCP.

Since I loved reading DMians and their mini stories, how about a story including any 5-6 members. Setting: Hogwarts, Characters: Members and their unique virtual qualities, Plot: Goblet of fire competition.

Okay it has freaking HOGWARTS. Give me some time, I need to think on it, I cannot type it just like that. will update.

Last but not the least, what was your first impression of me and how has it changed in the last year or so 😛

First impression, insufferable pain in the behind who thinks too high of herself and is here to moral police DTs without having a iota of knowledge of what we are facing on JDJ5 forum on daily basis.

Then we interacted, fought a bit too, but interacted, found out really cool, knowledgable, a little younger medical person with bindass attitude and balanced view on world, and in turn got your admiration for my tuppeny knowledge of dance and then your support in BB and later a comfortable friendship. I think you are smart witty, with biting sarcasm which people sometimes do not get and awesome person to get to know in real life

quite a lot. I had it upto my first two semesters in college. I specially like organic chemistry though.

I do not remember it sorry😳 I think they are difficult to dissolve in water and you can only identify a nitrate via ring test.

3. What is special about lead?

All radioactive materials finally end up into Pb, Lead is impervious to radioactive behaviour, therefore used as a container for radioactive metal.

Also lead is poisonous.
