Im talking generally, he may have not liked the role, but he took it and others. But his acting wasnt up to the mark for me.
Personal choices aside, im just taking reference about how certain people liked his acting, certain gender. Barun has an advantage there, hes already famous amongst almost all the ladies and girl all around the globe.

the problem is when you are a fanatical fan all logic gets thrown out of the window and you end up putting the person on a pedestal and unwilling to look for any flaws

I am sure many will agree with me that BS as ASR was really good in the first few months of IPKKND he started off wooden then suddenly his acting dialogue delivery and expressions changed and then he raised the bar of ASR by several notches and was a treat to watch till February March

After his return from the shoot he stopped taking care of himself his personal grooming went on a permanent break he looked scruffy many a time and sometimes it looked he came straight from waking to the sets and please let not anyone excuse saying he was working on the movie as well From the looks of it MAMR dubbing has just got over now and even if he did work on his movie he is not the first actor to do so many many are juggling serials and movies and still look fresh and energized

When he stopped being ASR he stopped innovating or redefinining his acting We only saw the same set of expressions so dont know where the title KIng of Expressions came because it was very repetitive and stuck to all his past trademarks without going further In fact he lost his ASR mojo and with that the look and acting

When emotional breakdowns are thought of AL Pacino in the Godfather trilogy comes to mind and in each sequel when he lost a loved one his outpouring of grief was brilliant unique and most importantly different You could never say it was recycled which alas BS in his second breakdown failed to impress unlike his first where you ended up crying for him

so BS has miles to go before he can be called the complete actor and crowning him emperor based on a serial where he emoted for just half of it and then got bored and stopped acting is an exaggeration

Let him be tested in all genre and not base it on a suddenly euthanized half baked love story

given a chance the coronantion ceremony and anointment of the emperor of BW nay Hollywood would have taken place
