@BTV - i'm slow to change 😆 I'm using a laptop that is 6 years old even though i covet and can afford an HP/Dell ultrabook 😆😆
Same with cellphone ... i survived about 3 years of college before finally giving in and buying a cellphone .. and i didnt buy a new one either .. told my bro to get a good second hand one ... and it was a nokia 😆😆 ... when it went kaput (battery is breathing its last) i started using my brother's old nokia.. (newer than mine but its one of those slide phones so u can imagine how old 😆) when he upgraded to iphone ... and i'm still sticking with it though i dream of the day i'll buy a Lumia 😳

but may be i'm better off with these old sets ... i have butterfingers ... this cell was almost new when i got it and it has fallen soo many times that its amazing ... and now its also kaput ... i think all the times that it slipped from my hands and fell have damaged it ... i can receive calls but i can't hear what the caller is saying 😆 so its time to buy a new one ... i'll probably go with an older model blackberry 😆

@RTH - oye, spoiler alert 😆😆😆 I'm going to eventually restart watching OUAT ... its interesting that they have gone beyond the fairytales and incorporating other fantasy tales /disney characters ...

@tani - did u read that post about tv actors and how they dont make it big? she gave example of jon hamm and hollywood and how its the same everywhere and in my mind i was listing clooney and will smith and all those people who made it big on tv before making it big in hollywood 😆 what an ill informed piece of crap that was 😆😆

EDIT: Off for now 😆😆 Will watch a bit of football 😳

My phone falls at least 5 times a week on an average and it's still surviving strongly. That's Nokia's magic...

@always blaming the other woman - while I agree the other woman need not always be a vamp and the wife could have flaws too, I think it's human nature to blame the one who does the wrong, then the one is wronged (at least going by how we can perceive). I mean, if you hear a woman has been abused by her husband? What will your immediate impression be? It is possible the wife is lying, and the man is innocent, but most of us will blame the husband and sympathies with the wife (without knowing the full story). So I don't mind people blaming the other woman or the man (the man should be blamed first!) and sympathies with the wife. That's human nature for you.

Probably one of the few times I actually love your avi RTH!😛

Arwen - that dude in your sig that is laughing reminds me a lot of James Lafferty!

Shak - Never seen a single episode of either Madhubala or PV and I don't ever plan on either. In one the chemistry is non-existent and in the other I have no interest in watching annoying vampires. On that note, I still love Drashti and Sanaya!! <3 I actually find it quite interesting how you follow so many Indian serials. Most guys I know hate all the drama!

@All: Thanks for all the advice peeps!🤗

Just to clarify - I wasn't referring to any of my family members. Despite growing up in an extended family, I never had any crazy restrictions placed on me. No-one to tell me what I should and should not wear. No aunty giving me weird looks if I choose to wear a dress or a skirt. I come from a family that always encourages girls to work, in fact if you choose to be a housewife then you'd get them shooting you down with questions. I suppose because I've been brought up with such an open-minded family, (who by the way is very traditional when it comes to a lot of things), I find it very strange when people come out with really old-fashioned statements e.g. boys ought to take more care of their parents then girls because well, they're boys and girls should stick to helping out in the kitchen. 'Cos, you know, it's their duty.

Absolutely PATHETIC!

The worst one was "My mum gets upset if I don't pray 5 times a day ".

Me: What about your brother? Does he pray 5 times a day too?

Her: No. Mum doesn't get angry at him. But he's a guy. You know what they're like. Always busy with his friends and games. o.O

It was bad enough hearing guys think this way but the worst part of it all has to be hearing this from girls too!!

Let's just say these are people who I couldn't avoid even if I wanted to. I absolutely hate the feeling of being judged by someone to that extent. Yes, I have a lot of friends that are guys, yes, I go out more than you do but why should I be judged for THAT? But just to clarify, I don't hate these people at all. For majority of the time if we avoid certain topics, we are more than capable of sitting together, having a laugh maybe and not pulling each other's hairs out. But hey, when I'm around, controversy is never far away! :P

Arwen - still working on perfecting the art of taking in large amounts of BS silently.

Apologies guys. Rant over! It's just been bugging me for quite a while now!

@H4L - It will take a while but u'll get the hang of it 😆
And that laughing guy is Iker Casillas... Real Madrid and Spain's goalie + Captain 😊

Which reminds me, RM lost the match

@RTH - I get what u r saying - i think more than the other women, its the men who should be hauled over the coals ...I guess, bcos so often it is the wife whose life is completely screwed by the whole thing, the sympathies lie with them ... and we tend to not forgive someone for what is soo obviously wrong ...+ whatever the circumstances, alot of the times its the wives who are left without emotional and/or financial security ... may be with the changing urban mindset about working women, things will change but it is darn hard to accept the other woman when u see the wife is going thru a hard time bcos of whatever happened.
