😆 ^ Yeah I agree. Radcliffe just looks so fugly now. I think HBP was the last one where he looked half-way decent. But he peaked in PoA, that's for sure.

Haven't seen any HP movies or picked up any of the books in a long time. Maybe it's time to do that again. My obsession has waned so much in the meantime, I would like to see how the book/movie holds up now - now that I would read/watch them with a more critical eye.

I think they'll hold up pretty well but u'll probably notice plenty more loopholes 😆

Still, i would love an HP encyclopedia ... I loved reading Rowling's post DH interviews bcos u would find out about stuff that didnt make it to the books ...Same reason why i m now interested in new info via pottermore 😆😆

have to say though...for next generation of fans, it wont be same ... the impatient wait for a new release was always part of the charm😆 and now ...

Yeah. But reading an encyclopedia could be a bit ... dry. It won't be as interesting as having the trio doing naughty things around Hogwarts corridor...hehe. :P

Anyway, i found the appendices of LOTR very interesting so i won't mind something along those lines for HP ... But it doesn't look JKR will release anything like this 😆

Well, that way we could get granular even within a "neighborhood" and isolate houses for instance. And within a house, we could isolate people.

Alternatively, we could also say we live on the most dangerous planet in the solar system or even the known universe (danger as in the danger posed by fellow humans and not natural forces :)

If the pockets of dangerous elements are fairly distributed, then the whole city deservedly gets a bad reputation. Juarez, Mexico for instance is a dangerous city without a doubt. Same goes for a country. For example, which is safer as a whole between Afghanistan and India?

@K - but surely in a country like US, u won't have such degree of lawlessness that an entire city is unsafe? Smaller ones may be but Oakland is not that small right? but i guess even a few neighborhoods are enough to give a bad rep to an entire city...

I checked that atlantic link out of curiosity 😆 Detriot is pretty high up in that list but it is still an economic hub right? so it can't be that an entire city is unsafe 😕? Or may be people avoid the main city and live in the suburbs ... I'm pretty sure that my sense of security comes from living in suburbs my whole life 😆 Otherwise, considering how bad things had gotten here a couple of years ago 😳

I'm soo tired of inflation 😳 U cant buy a simple dress for home use anymore ... unless u r willing to buy utter trash 😔 and global warming 😳 I HATE global warming ...

here it looks as if an entire season has disappered 😔 right now its still summer.. and end of November perhaps it will get cold enough for warm clothing... nothing in between ... no moderate weather 😔 I miss spring and autumn 😔
