It has been banned here since that *ahem ahem* movie was made. ๐Ÿค“ And we are paying for the insecurities of some folks, and the lack of sincerity of some others part. [Yeah removed dead emoticon so that it doesn't offend sentiments ๐Ÿ˜‰].

Sorry, didn't mean to scare you. But better safe than sorry!

Nothing is safer than home to office and office to home. But if you want to have a good time I suggest San Francisco across the bay. There are spots to avoid in San Francisco too (please Google) but overall it's much better "touristy" destination.

I would have, but they were all in India. None local.

Btw, G and I were planning to watch the rumble online. We had subscriptions but the site could not handle the traffic. It is available for purchase. There will be torrents online though soon. You can download it now. I can send you my login info if you are interested.

They should not object as I paid or live streaming and the site could not handle the traffic. ๐Ÿ˜ก

Oh, you did? Lucky! I remember during the last election, Bill Clinton came to my university. Too bad I had an exam at that time - regardless, I would not have made it with all the people that were already in line to get in. The fire marshal would have had a field day fining the school! Glad Obama was back to his old self. I'm not for either party, but if there's anything I like about Obama, it's his eloquence and charisma - both of which were missing in the last debate. Even Biden came across very irritated and annoyed at having to explain himself. But Ryan and Romney are bullies - they win the debates but fail to provide their standpoint on any of the issues. The mediator had a field day with Ryan in the debate, too. Haha.

Oh, that sucks. You paid for it and still no access? Were you able to watch it now? Is it good?

@RTH - who is G ๐Ÿ˜•?

You found out who G is now, right? :) Sorry, I keep being late in my replies and then forget about my older posts! :( No, I never watched that show! Was it good? I think it was a BBC show, right?

@WA: Don't you watch many Bollywood movies? They all have an intermission I believe. What scene was copied from The Notebook?

Wasn't planning to watch either OMG or English Vinglish but the reviews for both seem pretty good.

Haha, Dia, funny that you asked that. When I went to watch Barfi, I realized that perhaps the last Bollywood movie I watched in theaters was Kal Ho Na Ho - honestly! That seems like ages ago. No wonder I couldn't stand the three hours in the theater! ๐Ÿ˜† My butt was killing me.

The scene directly copied from The Notebook was when her mother takes her to that mill where these men are working. She points at one of the men and tells her she was once in love with him but decided not to marry him. That scene is exactly like that in Barfi! But I guess it wasn't as strong. In The Notebook, it comes when her mother finds her at Ryan Gosling's house (after she's been engaged), and she comes running to the door wrapped in a sheet.

I keep hearing both are good. I thought Barfi was adorable! I will keep these two movies on my list as well.

I'm a through and through liberal. Fiscally, I can see both sides of the argument. But socially, I have a hard time accepting the Republican candidates. I don't mind a Regan conservative. But I cannot stand the current lots views on abortion, contraceptives, gay marriage, immigrants, Muslims etc. I thought Mitt would be a more fiscal focused candidate, but picking Ryan and then making flip floppy statements he turned out to be just another loser.

Paul Ryan is an asshole. His entire family is a bunch of snot nosed snobs. Sometimes I wonder how he wins. Many conservatives in the Janesville area itself find him to be a pompous jerk. I don't think Mitt is malicious. He is just clueless. He's had a life of excessive privilege that he just does not get the middle class. He simply can't see a perspective outside the rich class. On the other hand Paul Ryan is one sneaky lying manipulative bas***d. One of the shadiest politicians ever.

^^ I was waiting for your perspective on Paul Ryan ๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†

@Ajnu - don't think it was a bbc show ...
I liked it .. it wasn't as funny as sitcoms go ... and i now guess that it remained at a superficial level as far as Muslims or multiculturalism go ... But i still had alot of fun watching it ๐Ÿ˜†]LOL]๐Ÿ˜† I really liked Ammar. ๐Ÿ˜›
