What is God

hey guys!!

since our childhood we have been taught by our parents that God is somewhere up in the sky controlling the universe and every human's life! but people have different concepts abt God, so in your opinion what is God?

There is hardly a complete and universally accepted definition of God that one and all could agree with. It varies not only from one religion/philosophy to another, but from person to person too. Even the most popular definitions are filled with so many ifs and buts and ambiguities, that it's hardly surprising that people turn their back on God these days.

Okay forget the jokes. I was reading about the first uncaused-cause argument. It is interesting. I agree with it on the point that one needs to get out of "what was before" argument. What was before big bang, what was before God etc. This argument talks about a start.

My take is that life (which shows intelligence) cannot result from a non-intelligent random process. In my opinion it was designed and this in turn means that there is a entity out there that holds that intelligence. In my view it is God which is also the first uncaused-cause.

Okay I have to end here lol. The more you read more you get confused. I agree that maybe we should stop debating this.

Perhaps closing our eyes is the first step in attempting to know God.

No perfect definition available in any book. But I can describe god in one word and that is FAITH.

One energy who is managing the whole world.
