You are lucky that your connection inwardly is pretty strong.
For some it is too deeply buried.
What separates us from God is only an imaginary wall.
Right understanding is liberation.
I think the "First Uncaused Cause" could be the most objective definition of God there can be. Rest are too subjective and contestable for us to comment on. Otherwise "his" attributes, role, tastes and objectives vary so much that it's not worth mulling our head with it one bit.
To add more:

- every effect is preceded by a cause
- no earthly thing could be eternal or existing forever
- the universe has therefore come into existence at some point and so has life, and therefore, there is a cause preceding the effect (i.e. the universe and life coming to existence)
- going like that, even the cause that has resulted into the existence of ourselves and the universe we inhabit must have another cause preceding it, and it would stretch like that into infinity
- since an actual infinity cannot exist, the causal chain can't be infinite either
- the first cause, therefore, must be uncaused
- God is synonymous (or an interchangeable term) with the first uncaused cause

I think, religion has done it by creating God..different religions have created different things...The Questions are:- what are you going to do with God? Does God exist?😊If He exists, then who created Him? If He does not exist then how could He create the universe?... If He Himself does not exist, how can He create existence? ...If He exists, then what about your basic maxim, that anything that exists needs a creator?... No, about God dont ask tht... That's what all the religions say abt God dont ask that... Bt this is strange why not?... If the question is valid abt existence, why does it become invalid about God?

Live it, love it, enjoy it ... be it. Why are you trying to understand it!!!.. Cos hypothesis which leads nowhere😊
