Imagine a World Without Free Knowledge

For over a decade, we have spent millions of hours building the largest encyclopedia in human history. Right now, the U.S. Congress is considering legislation that could fatally damage the free and open Internet. For 24 hours, to raise awareness, we are blacking out Wikipedia. Learn more.

Piratebay, Demonoid, and other P2P and file sharing sites are participating as well. More power to them, and I'm supporting them all the way.

Big Brothers Facebook and Google are now officially against SOPA and PIPA (Google once supported the batshit insane acts) 😆 how ironic.

^ Cenk Uygur can give Alex Jones a run for his money. I'm anti the anti-piracy codswallop and don't agree with his introductory views, but it's a must watch regardless.

You should've framed a question which can be debated and then expected a debate or discussion. Where is the question? You posted Wikipedia's message and a link to some twitter account or whatever.
As for your SOPA, PIPA, why should the entire world be interested in that? It's going on in US, and all DM members are not US citizens.

@TheUltimate: No need to post such rude comments. You don't like this discussion find another one. I don't understand why exactly you've to bring in spamming, MID and drugs in the current discussion.

Is India enacting that law? No. Why the heck should I be interested in what law US is planning to pass? It's upto the US citizens whether they want the law or not.
